Q: Any successful troubleshooting for the bridge not connecting to home wi_fi? mine just says “trying to connect…” and never connects

Around the same date, I lost signal with my Mopeka bridge. When I got to the remote location, my phone connects to the tank sensor fine but the wi-fi light on the bridge just blinks. I cannot find any way to access it or reset it. As Spock would say. "Fascinating."

Q: Where is the mount for this thing??

It doesn't come with one. I just sit mine on a ledge.

Q: The product information indicates that it will connect to a "nearby" router via the gateway. What is the definition of "nearby" in terms of range?

It depends on the environment it's installed in. While not 100% accurate, if you can get a WiFi connection on your cell phone where you anticipate putting the gateway, then the gateway should be able to also connect to WiFi. The gateway needs to be within bluetooth range of the tank sensors, you can check that with your cell phone too.

Q: So, is this device placed inside your house and does it connect to the tank 1 outside on the rv propane tank ?

Short answer; Yes. I have this receiver about 25' away from my transmitting unit (on the underside of my 30LB. propane tank) and it connects flawlessly.
