Nice Box - It Does The Job
I purchased this flatware box to store my formal flatware in. I didn't want a large box as storage space was a factor. This box stores a full 12 place setting quite nicely. I even have a bit of room for serving pieces. The box isn't fancy, but it does the job. It is nicely lined with just the right amount of storage slots for the 12 place settings. The outside bottom of the box is covered in felt to avoid scratching. The box came in perfect condition; no scratches, defects, or damage. As other reviews have stated, I'm not really sure what the box is actually made of. It is meant to look like a stained wood. It is attractive looking and seems to be sturdy enough. As far as value for the money, I think the box is a bit pricey for what you get, but all flatware boxes seem to carry a high price tag. Overall, I'm satisfied with the box.

Just what I needed
I inherited a few sets of flatware and needed something to store them in. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and this box does just what I need it to. Box is not real wood and it's painted to look like it, but I'm fine with that.

A solid choice in the price range.
I recently inherited my parents’ silver plate flatware, which despite its low monetary value, stirs many happy childhood memories. The wooden silver chest was falling apart, so I went shopping on Amazon to find a new one. The Royalty Art chest fit my budget and was simple and elegant. I thought that it was made of solid wood, but it appears to be manufactured wood on closer examination. It holds service for 12 easily as well as some serving pieces, but I’m not sure that the lining is the anti-tarnish kind that is so popular these days. For the price, though, and am entirely satisfied.

Flatware storage on the low end.
I just really wanted a box to keep my sterling flatware in since I am moving and not taking the hutch it was previously in. There were some lovely chests available, but more than double the price I paid. This one will work until I figure out where the flatware will be going at my next house.

Very poorly made
I needed to replace the silverware box I had been using. It had to fit in my drawer, so this one’s dimensions were good, although it would not hold as many pieces as my brand name one. The knives fall against each other, because the knife section on the inside lid of the box was very poorly made. Three or four knives stay in place. ALL the rest of the openings are way too loose. Bad craftsmanship. Would never spend 100$ on it again
