The Brydge hub is a serious investment, but worth the money. Does what it says on the tin.

Partiamo col dire che ho un MacBook Pro da 15,6 2018. Ho acquistato questa docking dopo varie ricerche, sia per prezzo che prestazioni. Secondo me è quella con il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo, certo non te la regalano, ma rispetto ad altre marche più famose secondo me fa quello che promette. Ha tutte le entrate che mi servono, anche la scheda SD, jack per le casse, usb classica e thunderbolt 3. Necessitavo di una docking perché sono spesso in giro per lavoro ma quando tornavo a casa connettere mille adattatori carica batterie ecc era veramente fastidioso e anche poco estetico. Con questa docking arrivi, poggi il computer, connetti il cavo et voilá, tutto connesso. Un fattore da non sottovalutare è la ricarica, infatti carica perfettamente il mio Mac anche quando è sotto sforzo perché l’uscita promette (e mantiene) 85+ Watt. Alcune volte sono uscito di casa dimenticato l’alimentatore attaccato al muro, ora nessun problema, alimentatore sempre nello zaino e dock a casa. Che dire, lo ricomprerei sicuramente altre 100 volte, e se cercate qualcosa che costi meno non credo lo troverete così prestante, anche perché la maggior parte hanno un uscita “dichiarata” di 60w, se avete un Mac come il mio e lanciate un render o altro state sicuri che si spegnerà.

I am using this docking station with my M1 Mac mini as a hub to help manage a dual monitor set-up, external speakers, two connected hard drives (back-up / storage) and an ethernet connection. A thunderbolt cable is included in the box, and everything is very well packaged.The design perfectly compliments the Mac mini (and any mac for that matter) and is compatible with both Apple OS and Microsoft/Windows products. The build quality is great, being made from aluminium, and feels like it is constructed to a high standard. You can choose to rest your MacBook on it as a slight stand, or it is small enough to sit neatly in the corner of your desk (or hidden away).Transfer speeds to/from my hard drives (both SSDs via USB-C) were fast and reliable. No issues with my monitors (both USB-C) and having an ethernet connected I also noticed great network speeds. I also appreciate that the SD card slot is on the side, but would have welcomed a USB-C port on the side as well for easier access to external hard drives, etc.Overall, very little not to like. For my needs, it works perfectly. I enjoy having everything connected in a single place, and can finally have 2 USB-C monitors connected to my Mac mini simultaneously (as the mini only has one USB-C/TB and one HDMI output).

Uno degli oggetti più belli pensato bene e realizzato alla grande. Solido moderno con ben 3 porte USB-C ha l’unico insormontabile difetto di avere un enorme alimentatore ma è un finto difetto perché questo serissimo Hub permette a tutte le periferiche USB che connettiamo di essere alimentate alla grande. Il MacBook si appoggia che è un piacere e resta lì immobile grazie alle gomme di alta qualità. Entrata riempiendo tutte le connessioni e sembra reggere input e output come solo i prodotti a marchio Apple riescono a fare.

Thunderbolt 3 multiport hub.I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it.This is a handy little hub, you have 11 ports to connect hard drives, dual displays at 4k, a single display at 5k, have your ethernet directly sourced through the hub, use and access your memory cards, charge multiple devices, iOS and Android and more. Just connect to your laptop and go.The design is quite nice, it definitely looks like that of a Macbook style. It's well made, a little weighty, sleek and stylish. The size is roughly 21cm x 8.5cm x 1.5cm, this goes thinner at the front.On the hub you have a mic/sound audio port, usb c and a ports, ethernet port, thunderbolt 3 to computer port, thunderbolt port, display port and SD card area.You have a 160cm long, AC adapter power box, which plugs into the hub, then you have a 175cm long, UK plug adapter that connects to that, giving you quite a decent bit of length before your hub. Honestly I think maybe a little more than needed but it's still good for just incase. You also get a european plug and a small thunderbolt cable.This is a nice build and it works fast too. It's quiet when using but it does get a little warm after prolonged use. I like the quick access to everything in one place and I definitely like the tidiness of it all. I think a power button on the box, would of been useful for myself but this isn't the end of the world.It is a clever and handy little hub, I would recommend it. Fantastic for dual screen displays, my monitors work perfectly through the hub. The ethernet provides a better internet connection, for if you don't have a port on your laptop. You may need to install the drivers, this doesn't take long. I do quite like the design, the efficiency and the versatility of it. It's a little more than I thought it would be but I'm hoping it does last a decent amount of time.
