Bought for my five year old son to record his charting, results, drawing and photos for science projects. My sons loves using them and his teacher loves them too. Since it comes in set of 10, we are set for the school year.It has been an excellent way for him at an early age to learn how to compile/submit his science data in an organized way. good for science of other classes requiring drawing

Useful In aclassroom
I use these for my middle school (grades 5-8) weekend science class so they have a way to remember all the science we learn. One page has lines about halfway down; top is blank. Right side is a grid page. If you write with sharpie, ink bleeds thru. Cover is a thicker card stock.

Cute... expensive item for the quantity of pages / quality of cover...We got these for a homeschool science fair to give to the kids as favors... Would have been better to get lab notebooks from the local school/office supply store.

barely any pages
These are not great for kids that have to have science journals. They are small and thin. Not a lot of pages. I had to get different journals for the kids. :(
