Couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. Unit was a breeze to install and so sharp looking once mounted in place. One always worries that the ad pictures do not live up to the real thing. In this case the real thing surpasses any picture or video. Endless combinations of color flame, bed color, flame speed make this unit a winner. Even has a great function where it slowly morphs from one combo to another. Heater works fine, long cord made it easy to reach outlet. Bought a fireplace sound speaker to complete the experience.

The media could not be loaded. I was a little nervous about buying this based on other people's reviews. Some said the flames were just orange, not colored; some people said they didn't have a choice of crystals or logs. I am not sure if those people are reviewing the correct product because those issues were not a factor with this purchase. Everything came carefully packed, included both logs and crystals, and took about a half hour to install and place the logs. If anything, placing the logs correctly is the most time-consuming part because they have to be turned a certain way in order for the light to shine through and make them look like embers, and it is a little tricky to get them to stay where they should. However, once we put the glass front on the unit and turned it on, we were in awe. It really adds a great ambiance to the room. There is a quiet humming that occurs when the unit is running, and it gets a little louder when you increase the intensity of the flames, but for the most part, this fireplace is great. If you have other noise going on in the room, you really will not notice it. Heater is pretty quiet. Being able to mix different colors together is a nice option as well. After doing extensive research and comparisons of different fireplaces, this one seemed to be the best price for the most realistic flames.

The quality of the fireplace/heater mount is pretty impressive, the size of it in a room is probably one of the better deals I have seen. I am really happy with what comes in the packaging, you are given the option to keep the fireplace completely empty with just lights / flames or.. they provide you some fake logs, and some fake ice cube looking stones.The fireplace was delivered in a timely manner, the company is supposedly very understanding as long as you are within the return window if you didn’t like it, the mountain of it is not very complicated or difficult either, and all of the pieces come with it.Here’s my ONLY concern: take a look at some of the photos that I have posted, the fireplace looks great mounted and up, it functions well, and the heat actually produces more warmth for the room that I have it in then expecting. However there is a Glass piece that mounts to the wall mount as you can see, and the glue job for that is a tad bit concerning.I assume that the glue is the appropriate type for this type of product, however the person who attached the bracket to the glass piece with the glue just seemed a little bit messy? I also am just concerned that this glue will withstand the heat/weight combination of the glass face.I would be incredibly curious if anyone else had this concern, and if any problems have arise from people who have purchased.Thanks for reading! We installed it in a bathroom above a Jacuzzi tub and chose this unit as the heater blows out the bottom (which really makes you toasty on cold days). After about a month and a half of using both with heater and also on occasion with just flame (3-4 times a week), we love it! It heats very nicely and looks as realistic as we hoped for with an electric heater! It really isn't noisy at all, and has operated flawlessly. Excellent instructions with it also. When it arrived, the packaging was beat to snot, but the heater was so well protected, that it wasn't even slightly affected. We have a large bathroom (8x14 with cathedral ceilings) and it warms it up, just fine. I would recommend. (Bathroom isn't quite finished, but you can tell how nice the unit looks in it!)

[Still working great after a year of use!]The PuraFlame Serena 50" Wall Mounted Electric Fireplace is a really good buy. It is actually pretty large so I would recommend taking measurements to make sure this is the size you need. Shipping was fast, and it arrived early. The box looked a little beat-up, but there was no damage to the contents.After removing all the parts from the box, and getting familiar with them for a minute, it took me around 25 minutes to complete assembly. Putting together and mounting on the wall is pretty straight forward. The directions are good. I would suggest taking care to make sure the mounting bracket on the wall is perfectly level. Also, try to make sure at least 4 of the 6 screws are attached to studs. This will help ensure that the fireplace is securely attached to the wall.The flames look great, and the heater is pretty powerful when turned on to the high setting. Mounting a TV above the fireplace is not a problem, as the heat comes out the bottom of the fireplace, and the top of the fireplace does not get hot at all. Do follow the manufacturers recommendations on distance from furniture etc. Good Purchase! I hope you have the same luck with the shipping as I did.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. A basic electric fireplace to add some warmth to a basement tv viewing area.The product was shipped with out any damage.Installing the unit was easy, simply mount a bracket to the wall, clip the fire place box into the bracket, screw in side bracket mount to fire place, clip the glass on to of fire box and into the bottom, screw down on the top, plug in and your done.The flame is primarily orange and does not change colours, it does have 4 height variations.In terms of warmth, the unit does take the chill out of my TV viewing area, but the space is wide open and in a basement that is typically cold. It works as intended and for the price, I am not going to complain.
