WS-2700 is a great weather station
The WS-2700 is accurate, easy to read, and provides great information. I tested for accuracy with an additional hygrometer and thermometer. I didn't purchase the ac adapter. I've had this unit for two days shy of one year and just replaced the batteries for the first time. The instructions are clear and the unit is easy to set up. I like the small size and find that the display shows a lot of easy to read information. The backlight works well. When setting up and changing the batteries, everything but the clock was working immediately. The clock synched within a couple of hours, probably due to daytime solar interference mentioned on page 15 of the instruction manual. This has been a wonderful purchase.

Trop difficile Ă programmer.
Je n’ai pas aimé les instructions de fonctionnement.

After 2 week, so far so good, recommended....
Been using it for about 2 weeks so far and it's been very good. I checked the barometer readings a few times with what Intellicast was showing for my town and each time I looked it was either exactly the same or within 0.01 of the Intellicast reading, so pretty accurate from what I've seen. I had no problems getting the outside sending unit to link up with the inside unit. Started communicating right away. I have this unit plugged in to an AC outlet all the time so the display is continuously on. There are some negative reviews on here stating that some buyers claim they didn't know ahead of time that you needed to keep it plugged in for continuous illumination of the display but I saw this clearly disclosed on the product's Amazon description and also in the manual that came with it. I don't know why you'd want this continuously illuminated on battery power anyway. You'd be cranking through batteries every other day. As soon as I plugged in the unit and got it running and communicating with the outside transmitter, I set the time, date, time zone, etc, all manually because it was the middle of the day and I knew it wasn't going to get the radio controlled clock (RCC) signal ("atomic clock" is actually a misnomer) until at least that night or longer. The manual that came with the unit says it can take at least a couple days before the radio signal gets successfully received for the first time. In the meantime I wanted the readings to at least be as correct as possible manually. This was a Wednesday around noon, and I did not see the little radio antenna symbol illuminate on the display for the first time signifying that it successfully linked up with the radio signal until I woke up that Saturday morning. I was starting to get a little concerned that something was wrong but don't lose hope if you don't see it right away. One thing I also noticed is that the little antenna symbol will appear and disappear over the course of a week, so it's not getting the signal every single day of the week constantly, but enough to keep the time and other data plenty accurate for anyone's needs I would think. For example, the antenna symbol will be there Mon, Tue, Fri, Sun, but missing on Wed, Thu, Sat. It comes and goes. I live in Connecticut so maybe I'm in a fringe area and the signal has good days and bad days in my area? Who knows. The display is plenty bright for us to read anywhere in the room day or night. The viewing angle is very good left to right, but the viewing angle up or down is not that good when it's propped by its rear leg on a flat surface. I had to wrap a little bit of bubble wrap around the prop-leg behind the unit to make it stand more upright rather than angled back and after doing that the viewing from greater distances improved noticeably. I like the minimum/maximum readings on it that reset every midnight more than I thought. Nice feature. It's nice that the outside transmitter also displays the temp and RH% out there too so it's like having another thermometer outside too. I did not put Lithium batteries in the outside transmitter yet since I was out of them at the time but I plan to before the next winter season gets here. Lithiums will last longer and will operate in a broader range of high/low temps than regular alkalines. I found this out from prior units I've had in past years. To summarize, I know it's only been a couple weeks but so far I'm very pleased with the purchase and am hoping that it continues to work well. Right now I can definitely recommend it.

This Weather Station is 100% able to be calibrated
I ordered this because the other Weather Station I tried did not have the calibration features this one has.I boxed up the other one that I paid $28 for and put it on the shelf. This one can calibrate all temperatures and humidity readings and the barometer. The procedure is a bit lengthy and can take a few hours, but the time spent is worth it.Just follow the manual directions EXACTLY and it will be within 1% or better of the actual readings compare to a known source. After I calibrated the unit with the local temperatures and the barometric pressure from the nearest NWS reporting airport, the barometer matches the reported air pressure exactly.10PM ET, NWS Barometric Pressure is 30.14 and this unit reports 30.14 and rising.Indoor temperature reading is within 0.5° F of the actual temperature.Outdoor temperature is with 1° F of the actual temperature.Humidity reading at my location is lower than at the airport due to the over 25 miles distance. This unit also has the Atomic Clock to sync the time with WWVB, but it can take several days to finally lock onto the signal due to RF Propagation and other factors. The remote sensor has the radio receiver. It will check for the time signal every few hours. Once the signal is found it will display an icon at the top left of the display.Initial setup is easy and should only take about 10 minutes.Calibration takes longer and should be repeated several times 6 hours apart to get the readings to be more accurate. The unit also support 3 remote sensors, but I only needed one. Use Lithium batteries for best results. The base unit requires 3 AAA batteries and I recommend Lithium, the batteries are backup in case of power loss. Keep the unit plugged in with the supplied AC Adapter and wire. The backlight can be dimmed or turned off for night if it is in your bedroom. This unit operates at 915MHz rather than 433MHz that most units use.I did not rate Tech Support as I did not need it.And Last but Not Least, the manual is in regular English instead of translated Chinese.EDIT: After 3 days of heavy rain the outdoor sensor was stuck on the same temperature and 97% Humidity. It was even inside a ZipLock bag with the zip part open at the bottomIt is supposed to be weatherproof, but apparently not.I brought it in and took out the screws and a SPIDER crawled out!I dried the sensor with a hair dryer on warm after removing the Lithium batteries.I put it all back together and it seems to be working again, but I had to have the console detect it again. It is taking hours to stabilize again indoors to match the console temp and humidity.

So much promise...
Display is beautiful but keeping the outdoor sensor synced up and working is a true PITA. At this stage of wireless technology there is no excuse for this device giving as much trouble as it has given me. When it works it works well but when it loses sync, good luck getting it to sync back up.
