They work well with my couch, very simple and good quality. They work well. They are fairly thick and lightweight. I would say they are perfect with my bass shakers.

I discovered these a few years back after leasing out an apartment to a lady who liked to do her laundry at 6 AM, driving her neighbor who liked to stay up late and sleep in, crazy. Four of these killed most of the noise. After installing a new stacking LG washer dryer the wash spin was shaking the wood floor 15 feet away in the next room. These won’t silence the noise but the floor shaking is almost gone. I might try adding another 4 later.

When bolting a large air compressor to a concrete or other floor, you really should use these or similar, to help minimize vibrations and reduce resulting wear and tear to an expensive machine. it quiets down the unit and extends life span by reduced vibrating, jumping, and dancing around and possible falling over and damaging other machines and people.

These would likely work just fine in an industrial or basement setting under heavy equipment. However, I wanted to use them to dampen the rattle of a dehumidifier in my bathroom. Not gonna happen. The rubber off-gassing is potent--like walking into a tire salesroom. I've left them in a cold stairwell. Maybe, over time, the smell will subside.
