I have a 20 lbs poodle I take to the groomers while I do the in between Appts. But, I was wanting to save $ on our10 lbs poodle’s cut. I watched videos & decided I needed a curve scissors. Read many reviews many good, some not so good. I’m no professional, I got the set for the $ you can purchase the 1. My adult daughter asked me yesterday if the 10 lbs had gone to the groomers? Yayee ! I did good ! Groomers make it look easy, it’s not that easy. Though, doing trims & saving $ in the in between or for smaller dogs definitely doable! I think they cut great for my needs.

These worked very good for my dog’s haircut. He won’t sit for a trim with an electric razor because of the buzzing sound, so this was my other option. Overall the scissors worked well, but they would occasionally get hung up on my knuckle, so I had to use my other hand to adjust them. This was only a minor inconvenience.

Very disappointed in these shears. It was like sawing through rope when it came to clipping my dog's hair. I wanted to return them... but since I have already used them, not interested in going through the hassle. The kicker? Not a sharp pair in the bunch.

This was my first attempt at grooming, but after watching a few videos I'm getting the hang of it. There is definitely a learning curve but well worth the effort in terms of quality time with Patsy (17 lb poodle mix) and cost. I do not miss the $65 tab for grooming.

I really wanted to give these scissors a chance. They are very sturdy and even pretty but, they are dull don't work at all....please don't buy you will be very disappointed!😡
