One of our cats has a health issue that makes him underweight and hungry all the time. He was anxious when we were not around as the humans were the source of all food. This feeder solved this issue very successfully. He now seems more relaxed as he ‘trusts and sees the machine all the time!’. Had no issues setting up however played about with measurements of the feeds to get the weight of food I wanted, easy enough to do, just sat with a digital scale and double checked what actually comes out. Ours seemed to do about 6g of food per ‘portion’. Overall I’m very pleased. Also looks neat and streamlined.

Having two single auto feeders already, one out on loan, having two new kittens meant I needed more feeding stations and this double chute one fitted the bill nicely. It’s my first one that’s app connected & it made setting it up a breeze plus I can give extra at any time whether I’m home or not. I love it. Best & most important of all my cats love it. Take me out of the feeding equation. Several small meals at regular times more closely resembles natural feline feeding meaning happy tummies and no over eating.Way back when, one of my girls has got very overweight after being spayed - I tried diet food while keeping her using her microchip feeder for all day/night grazing but after a year she had lost no weight. I tried slow feeding and finally gave in to an auto feeder. Ta-Dah - with weighed & measured portions, there could be no overeating and finally there was a slow weight loss & eventually a return to her normal healthy weight. Formally against these feeders, I’ve been converted & highly recommend them. No waste, no fuss, no begging, no worries!

We got this to help with looking after our cats when we went away for a couple of nights, to reduce the number of times my sister-in-law had to come round to feed them. Assembly wasn't too bad and the build quality is good. Getting it set up with the app took more effort than I was expecting but that was mostly down to me (a professional programmer) making assumptions, and the app itself is actually excellent - far better than I would've imagined (and have seen many times!). Portion size is good and the voice recording has resulted in a Pavlovian response from the cats in less than a week.So why not five stars? Well, I've caught it on several occasions doing two feeds, roughly a minute apart - like it's doing it at the start of a minute and the end of a minute. If you're looking to control a cat's intake carefully, that's going to throw a spanner in the works.

I read a lot of reviews and opted for this feeder with Wi-Fi and app connection. The feeder itself is very easy to assemble and I found the set up of the meals easy too. People often talk about portion sizes being incorrect with other feeders and I’m sure there are some in reviews on this product too. I have found the portions easy to set up and they have been consistent in size. The audio recording is very simple to set up and the quality isn’t brilliant but it is good enough for a cat feeder and works well with the cats. My only gripe is the instruction manual. There is an indicator light on the front of the feeder and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to stay on or not. The manual says when food runs low, the light will blink. When you add food the indicator light will turn off. Well our light stays permanently on.

This cat feeder works really well and having the WiFi allows us to instigate additional feeds remotely whilst we are away from home. The feeder's WiFi links to your WiFi router using the 2.4GHz frequency and we used the Smart Life app on our Android mobile phone to control the feeder. Setting this up takes less than 15 minutes and use the device named Smart Feeder. The feeder allows for up to 6 feeds per day at times of your choosing. You can control the number of portions dispensed in each meal. We use Purina One dry cat food and i checked carefully how much food is dispensed as a portion and as multiple portions. Using Purina One food the individual portion dispensed is 15 grams. So it is really easy to scale up how many portions for our cats body weight.You can also check that the feeder has dispensed at your prescribed times by checking the log file via the Smart Life app.Very happy that we bought this WiFi enabled model. I also have a small CCTV camera that I use to check up on the feeder bowls to see that the cats are eating and have food available.

Ok - I read a few of the reviews but most are so glowing I thought it must be worth a shot.I was really, really wrong.We did all the setup correctly. assembled the pieces, set up a timed feed, connected the app. Even the voice recording which I saw was an issue for a lot of people.There seemed to be no way to make it work. The timed feed happened and the recording played. Not sound of any motor turning. No biscuits churned out.Tried the manual feed. Tried a manual feed from the app. Tried a timed feed from the app. No biscuits. Just the recording playing for the timed feed.Turned it off and on again. Went through the steps again. Nothing. Took out the hopper and checked the mechanism. Nothing jammed. Tried it all again. Nothing.The whole thing was useless. Got a refund and will be avoiding WellToBe from now on. I suggest you do too.

Overall does everything I wanted and needed - very reliable and the cats have got used to it very quickly. Doesn’t need topping up too often which is handy and lets you know when it does need topping up which is even better. App is easy to use and straightforward. Handy option to also dispense snacks manually between timed feeds.The lid is pretty secure which prevents my very determined and intelligent cat from accessing food early - this was essential! She has knocked it over with brute force a handful of times and once the lid did open for her, but other times it hasn’t and so she has stopped trying which is excellent. I also keep it in a corner to make it harder to knock over. I think it’s as cat proof as can reasonably be asked for!

3 cats, 1 feeder. Our skinny cat gained weight, our fat cat lost weight and our grazer is happy. Small feedings throughout the day helps so much. I can sleep in longer because my cats aren’t nibbling my eyebrows or trying to get us up. So good, I would have paid much, much more if I knew it would work this well!

Worked great and the app was easy to use but it died after 6 months. The cable base went bad and the company sent a new one for free.

The media could not be loaded.  Is exactly what I'm looking for! I try to use it this morning, because my feeding time usually around 6:30am, if I do not need to feed my fur baby I can sleep till 6:45am. Yet when operating the sound is a bit too noisy, scared me a bit this morning. >w<

Perfect. Life saver. Our cat would torment us every morning. Now, we get more sleep before she wants up, and she is not as aggressive. Works great. Easy to program. We do wet food for breakfast and set it all up before bed, using the donut shaped icepack. The recording feature is great. Fun to watch her get ready for the 8PM night-snack of dry of food.

Slightly difficult to program (instructions could be clearer) but works great. The kitties on a diet would prefer not having this machine.
