Nicholson File and Rasp Cleaner, 10" Length (Pack of 1)

This is just what I needed. I think it could be a tad bit larger and the handle could be slightly better ergonomically shaped, but as it is it does great.

The velcro on my jeep take out windows were not closing and staying tight .ran this brush in direction of the velcro base and it removed the dirt and lint that was stopping the velcro from sticking to the other piece of velcro..only use it on one side of the velcro.

Does its job of cleaning out chips and stuck bits.

This is a must if you use files at all. If you are reading this, you know what a file card does, but I will speak to why this one is better then others.This is a 100% American product. Which anymore is pretty amazing. Nicholson still makes their products in America (as of me writing this review anyway). You can tell as much. The design is supper simple. a stout peice of hardwood, a peice of canvass with a bunch of metal spikes through it, nailed (and glued?) to the wood. A hole drilled in the end to hang it or put a strap on it.This literally is a "what you see is what you get tool". I am certain this tool will last a lifetime. Cost is a bit higher than others, but for $3 more, I will support our economy and the US over some other country that is prone to steal from us... Plus, Nicholson is known for having excellent quality and service. I would guess if you could break this in some way, they would make it right.

Not much to say, good quality for the money and gets the job done in this homeowners shop for medium to course files. I use a piece of 1" copper pipe smashed on one end for cleaning my fine files or aluminum out of other files.

I had learned that this would remove pet hair and lint from velcro, which was the reason for my purchase. It worked like MAGIC. I have 2 Goldens and dog hair catches on everything. THIS WORKS!!!

F.I.L was a welder, and told me about this... Didnt know these existed... Cleaned about 10 old files that worked ok... And wow. All like new. Im trying to clean them after each use but that doesn't always happen, but still amazed

Amazing quality. Looks like stuff the way it used be made. Worth every penny considering the crappy options from inferior offshore manufacturers.

Works great for cleaning most types of metal, but for aluminum, a copper or brass pipe works the best to clean the files teeth.
