It is not a thin and cheap wire but a pretty thick and stud flexible rod! Once you positioned it, it is mot going to change any position by itself.

Item is sturdy. It takes a bit of upper body strength to maneuver it however. Not a problem for me, but for an older person, perhaps it could be a little difficult. I used it last night to read in bed and I was very pleased.

I tried this to use as overhead camera mount to shoot items closer up for zoom sessions.Pros- very sturdy and stays in position. Clamp is pretty sturdy but will still wiggle when you try to adjust the neck. The clamp for the camera is the best, the way it opens easily with lever and has wide silicone to hold phone safely. One of best features vs. the sliding side grips clamp on most othersCons- and this may be pro for some. It's good for holding in one place, but does easily not allow you to adjust camera movement, i.e. doing video call and need to change the angle, or move the camera sideways. The clamp does rotate 360, but changing the angle of view, or sideways view is quite hard and will wiggle the bottom support clamp too much.Overall I think if you mainly want this to be handsfree while reading in bed, or watching vids like the pics show, then it's worthwhile. It's not really great to use for live video calls or demos where you may need to move the camera angles.

Delivered within the time stated. I’ve used it twice now. Goose neck is stiff but not a bad thing. Have a beveled edge on beside table so had to use a drawer to attach it to. Will be good in the office. You just might want to consider where you will attach.

Used it many times for face timing and taking photos now and always works great!This is a good one.Holds phone very securely and clamps everywhere I needed to use it - clamped to a table, chair & railing with no problems. Goose neck works real well also.

The Gooseneck Phone Holder Mount is advertised as being able to rotate 360° but I'm not finding it capable of doing this. The clip rotates (180°), meaning you can flip your device from portrait to landscape, but you can't change the angle without manipulating the arm which is very firm; quite difficult to bend -this would be ok if I could easily angle the clip.Also, I use my device for drawing but the 'wings' of the clip overhangs beyond the depth of the device which kind of blocks the sides of my screen and gets in the way.Overall, it's a good quality item, but unfortunately I'm having to order a different one that will actually move 360° to better suit what I use a stand for.

This is one of those items you didn’t know how badly you needed it until you got one! I saw a similar one on tiktok but I wasn’t sure how well this would hold my items. I was worried it would be too flimsy or hard to attach…. It’s not! It’s easy to attach, it’s versatile, and one of my best finds of 2021!

Every time I needed to adjust the angle of the phone, the mount would wiggle loose a little bit more. Eventually it would fall off and I would need to unscrew the mount and reattach it, only to go through the whole process all over again over the next several days. Over time, the plastic mount couldn’t hold up and it just snapped when I was trying to remount it. Of course it is now outside my return window.The gooseneck part is stable, but so stable that it takes too much force to adjust it and creates the mount breakage problem described above. It’s also deceptively short because of how it is designed. There’s a good 6-8” that cannot be adjusted at all.Overall, I’d say if you are permanently mounting your phone in a single position (landscape OR portrait, not switching between both), and never need to readjust it, then this is great. If you need an actual adjustable mount: don’t buy this.
