I guess you get what you pay for (this isn’t a cheap belt). This is a well made belt of high grade leather that is more supple than I expected. The appearance leans more toward business-casual than full-dress as there is no gloss to the leather (but I wear it anyway). Buy with confidence. I will be buying another color soon.

Belt is very strong and stylists. The stitching looks great, and leather feels soft. I mis-judged the size and ordering one size up. The belt is so good I am not going to wait for refund, have already ordered another.

I bought the Journeyman belt, which I'm also happy with, a while before buying this, but I got this for more formal occasions. It's slightly on the thinner side in terms of belt width. Depth is robust though. It feels sturdy and probably will be with normal use and some care. Color is rich and the finish is smooth.

Whenever possible, I strive to support American manufacturers, even if it means paying a few bucks more for an item. When I needed a new "dress belt", I considered several options on Amazon, ultimately choosing this belt. It arrived quickly, and is as advertised. Having said that, it does not feel substantial -- the leather strap is somewhat thin compared to other belts that I own, and it only has one keeper instead of two -- not a big deal, but somewhat disappointing given the price paid. The belt is good enough, I guess.

Extremely high-quality belt for use with smaller belt loops on pants and jeans. Like all others from this company, It's built to last a lifetime.

This was a gift for my husband. He was really impressed that it was American made and had a great appearance.

I bought two of these executive belts for my husband and he wore one yesterday for the first time to work. I know they are great belts just by the look and feel of them, but my husband said he received many compliments at work... Never in my life would I have thought a standard looking belt would be a looker, so it does go to show that quality shows on this belt!! Even better, my husband tells me at 58yo, it's the best belt he's ever had. It feels good, and doesn't cut into him at all. He asked for the Main Street Forge website and wants more!!

Have one from 2019. Lost weight and bought two new ones in 2023. Quality fell off a cliff at some point during the pandemic. No longer a single piece of leather but rather using clearly different layers now (bonded leather?), plus some kind of fabric liner. Even the buckle feels lighter, slimmer and made from a cheaper, lower quality metal. My 2019 one took a while just to break in, while these feel flimsy, like they're already about to fall apart, like a cheap Walmart belt. I can literally stretch and deform the new ones by hand. Still can't do that with my old belt from 2019. Looks like I'll just drill some new holes and cut the extra slack off the old one.Ironic that their main marketing material proudly says "We still make 'em like they used to", since they don't even make 'em like THEY, THEMSELVES used to just a few years ago.

One piece and thick

Basic black belt without any fancy design. The belt feels sturdy and will undoubtedly last a much longer time compared to the other $30 belts I have. Just buy this one instead of buying multiple belts over time. Got this delivered faster than expected to singapore.I got a belt size of 34 while my pant size is 32. The belt size is fine but I would’ve gotten the 36 instead. It would be longer and would still fit 32 pant size but I’ll be able to fit bigger sizes in the future
