See above and the value would be to get a complete grip/ picture of the fantastic story of expression by hand. Example the cowrie shells/ the Chinese language way of expression / pacific ways to write etc. To get the whole !! picture would be fantastic rather just specific selected area like the Cunei form. I found this book to be highly enlightening on the subject matter, complete with visuals. Her arguments are convincing, and a foreword by respected historian, William W. Hallo, in my mind, adds credibility to this scholarly work.
