Exactly what I wanted!
I typically don't take the time to write an extensive review on an item but seeing that there's no review for this, I'll do my best to describe it in an effort help others who might be interested. (Also, I don't like to buy anything that has no reviews but was an item that really fit what I was looking for). We'll start with what I was specially looking for. I'm currently working from home due to Covid 19 and already have a desk set up with MacBook Laptop and a 24" extended monitor. I found myself sitting on Zoom meetings the entire day and needed an option to stand up from time to time to work. So why didn't I just get an adjustable desk riser or an adjustable desk? This might not apply to everyone but I wanted an option to move around the house or even go outside and also have a bonus function to have an Ipad holder when I'm in bed. Bam! Magicholder fit all those needs. (And I didn't have room for another desk nor did I want to replace my current desk) So now I can move my laptop from my desk when I want to use the Magichold to stand and work (also when I don't need the 2nd monitor) and also use it to hold my Ipad when watching Netflix in bed.I'll provide a grading system of 1-5 stars in my opinion of what I find important. I'll also give a quick explanation of what I gave it that score. Oh - 5 starts being the best in case you're wondering...Mobility - 4Standing up to work option - 5Laptop holder - 5Ipad holder - 4Customer Service - 5Overall - Still a 5Mobility (4 stars) - the reason I scored this a 4 is because even though the base is really heavy and provides a good stability when standing and working, it can still tip over if you're not careful while moving it. (I suggest walking it slowly with both hands if you have your laptop and Ipad on it while in motion). I don't think someone bumping into it accidentally would tip it but a toddler or kid bracing and pulling on it might cause it to tip over. Just a caution on that one in case you do have little ones in the house. Oh - there's also an option to lock all four of the wheels to keep it from rolling.Standing up to work option (5 stars) - very solid and comfortable while I stood and worked. I also tried just sitting in my office chair and it worked great. The lowest setting was a bit too high while trying to sit and work on my bed but I don't expect to use it that way.Laptop holder (5 Stars) - the laptop holder is really well designed. It's solid metal piece with 2 adjustable clamps on either side to hold your laptop firm. The middle piece below that your laptop sits on had a rubber padding that protects your laptop from being scratched.Ipad holder (4 Stars) - this is honestly just my opinion. It's a simple clamp that holds the Ipad holder. I mean it does the job and but I feel that there should be a little groove of some sort to give it extra security from falling out. Because of this - I take my Ipad when I need to move it. Not saying that it would fall out but I rather be safe then have to go to Best Buy and spend $800 on a new Ipad...just saying...Customer Service (5 Stars) - I had a small issue that the bottom right side my laptop holder was a bit unfinished and wasn't rounded/filed down like the left side. This leaves the possibility that if I rest of arm on it while typing, it could possible be uncomfortable. (Quick reminder that it's metal and this was a bit sharp). I sent a message (along with the picture supporting it) to the seller to advise them of my concern and they immediately just sent me a replacement with no questions asked. I contacted them on Friday and I got my replacement part on Monday! That is top notch service in my opinion! (I called to offer to send the other one back but the gentlemen on the phone just said to hang on to it)Lastly - 2 complaints. Again, these complaints are strictly my opinion and might not apply to everyone. First, this item comes with an Ipad holder, Phone holder, and Laptop holder. But why only 1 arm for either Ipad or Phone, you have to choose? I ended up just Macgyvering it and connected it straight onto the pool itself. See picture. (The other arm is specifically for the Laptop). Second - the price was bit high in my opinion. I would have been happier if this item was around the $120-$140 range. It wasn't that much more but what I paid should have come with another arm! lol. (In case anyone is wondering, another arm is like $18 on ebay)Well - that's all I got. I hope this helps anyone else interested in getting this Magichold and I don't mind answering any questions if you have it since I am now a proud owner of one.

THIS is the best mobile laptop desk
I had another laptop desk from the same manufacturer that was good, but I moved around too much and it was meant to be stationary. I purchased this instead. Note that you will need a separate lap desk for your keyboard mouse to make this ergonomic. You can also raise it up to be a sit/stand station, but again, you'll need a place to put your keyboard. Still, this is a great solution for small work-from-home spaces! It's well made, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. Well worth the price tag.I'll note that the other laptop stand (check the manufacturer's store) was better for bringing the laptop to bed when my back was bothering me; the laptop arm on this one is short and doesn't swing over the bed, so I do not recommend this one if you're looking for something you can use while laying down. But the tablet arm does swing over the bed, if that helps. You could potentially swap the laptop and tablet connectors, but since I have the other laptop stand, I'm just moving that to the bedroom in case I need it again.

Works great
I purchased this stand to be able to have my laptop and phone beside me during a long medical recovery that kept me in bed for a month. It worked great rolled up beside my bed. The platforms are adjustable so my phone and laptop screens were visible even when I was laying down. So glad I bought this! The only downfall was that my laptop is a 17" HP Envy and the edges are rounded so the platform did not keep it as secure as I had hoped. I would not move the stand with my laptop on it for fear it would fall off. The side spring loaded braces stayed tight but not when moving the unit. I put double sided tape on the platform and bottom of my laptop to make it more secure.I will continue to use this stand for many different situations like in the kitchen when pulling up recipes but keeping my laptop off the counter and clean, beside my recliner when watching tv and working at the same time among others. A great tool for sure!

Amazing
This nifty piece has saved me from having to stack things or build a fort lol. Whoever engineered this got all the details right - it's easy, sturdy, and adjustable. The silver color is very sleek and pretty - not shiny or cheap looking - which matters because I keep this in the living room. Customer service was totally responsive and helpful when I had a question. I'm a happy camper :-)

It works!
We bought this for my brother in law who lives in a skilled nursing facility. We taught him how to call people using Siri and added a tablet so he had streaming options. The laptop holder isn’t meant for a tablet, but we added 3M picture hangers to keep it attached and it works well. Now his electronics don’t take up space on his bedside table used for meals and drinks. As soon as we set it up, someone walking by, backed up and did a double take. They loved it. We think it will serve him well. Getting him comfortable with the tablet will take a while longer as he’s in his 70’s. Really sturdy and functional!
