Scotts3-in-1 Moss Control Ready-Spray, 32-Ounce

This is by-far the best product I've used to remove moss from my roof shingles.. However, I think you have to scrub it lightly with a stiff pole brush to remove the moss that has been loosened. I followed this up with installing 3" wide zinc stripes at the crown of the roof. I did this last summer to one side of the roof. I'd say the results right away were in the 80% range, but I felt the remaining moss would come off over the winter. I was right. As of this spring, the side of the roof I did is 100% clean of moss. I just purchased another container to do the other half. As far as the scrubbing possibly removing the coating on the shingles, most of that was gone anyway (it's a seven year old roof) and the scrubbing did not seen to remove any more of it. Make sure to follow the instructions and do it on a shady day so after you spray the product it does not try out too quickly.

I live beside a monstrous lake with a yard full of hundred-foot pine and a mix of other trees. I get moss in all the shady areas--on brick, along walkways, at the bases of trees, patches in the lawn, and flower beds. I'm using it now during mild South U.S. winter, so the moss and mold is mostly dormant. It's been easy to kill with this, leaving the dead material easy to pull or rake, if you want. I've not yet tried it in summer yet when everything is most active, but having eliminated nearly all of it, I look forward to keeping up with that using occasional applications wherever it's needed. Starting in the summer might need more applications, since the mold and moss will be active, but I have no doubt it will work. The only thing I don't like is that I used it up too quickly, as every bit of moss requires directly spraying. I expected it to cover more area for the cost. Still, it did work well for me.

Only bought one bottle the first time but it was so obvious where I ran out on the fence I had to order a second. Works overnight. Fence looks great.

We used this on the moss in the front yard, it appears to have work but doesn't seem to be as effective as suggesting. The wet product and dry product appear to perform equally. The grass that was surrounding the area and plants were not hurt by this product.I would buy it again if needed, but I would keep in mind that it doesn't fully fix the problem. pH of soil, aeration and sun light issues need to be addressed as well, otherwise the moss just comes back overtime.

It did absolutely nothing. It's a worthless product. It had good reviews, so I assumed it would work, and unfortunately do not have the label or empty bottle to return it. I didn't realize that it didn't work until it was too late to return it because I used one bottle and threw the empty bottle away, and then went on vacation the a couple of days later and was gone for almost 3 weeks. I bought 2 bottles of it and still have one full bottle, but no longer have the return shipping label, otherwise I would return it if possible. Never again will I buy something like this over the internet.
