It is cheaper than big broethers and it is a usefull combination, but if you should work onhard surfaces it is not the best choice. I used on relatively freshly painted hard wood what has been filled with 2 pack filler and I used some grits very quickly. From 240 grit over collect paint easier than Mirka and after make round scratches. Also used on soft stone and it has been done what have to about 20 sec after it was just timewasting. Keep in mind it is designed for soft wood than everithing will goes well! Hook and loop is strong, interface disc recomended to help keep longer lifetime

I upcycle a lot (about 2 sets of drawers a week). Purchased the wire sand paper first about 2 years ago, JCB. They were fantastic. Since then I've tried lots of other makes but not impressed. These were the first ones I've tried for my round orbital. Its a Bosch Sander. First the hook is abysmal. It feel off after a few seconds, often flying off the sander! Dust collection is not good at all (even with hoover attached to sander). The sand quality is not the worst I've had but its not great either. I couldn't test the sand quality properly because they kept flying off the sander. It took the whole packet to do a standard and 2 small sets of drawers. By the time I had finished, I also noticed that the loop on my sander (its 3 weeks old) had also now gone! I can't confirm it was these but last week was having to tug the discs of the sander base, so I have my strong suspicions. Sander has had to be replaced. WOULD NOT recommend

Theese are clearly a Mirka Abranet rip off, I bought some just to see and theyre no better. BUT they are more expensive for some reason. Mirka are about £35 for 50 IN VAT.....
