I found this product helpful, unlike other topicals I tried. It relieves irritation from herpes. I don't know whether it cures it. But compared to prescription acyclovir, it works almost as well, is much cheaper, and has no negative side effects. I used it in combination with Herp Rescue supplement capsules.

Takes the pain away from sore.

Gives a nice cooling sensation. Burning sensation gone within 24hrs I suggest using a qtip to apply and don't double dip to prevent cross contamination. I used right after a compress with epsom salt so that was a nice compliment to follow up with.

I was prescribed a medication that was suppose to get rid of this. But after a week no go. So I stared using this product and it worked. Took about a 2 weeks for the lesion to heal up but it did. This was the worst breakout I had in 20+ years and it was only 1 lesion. I never had a breakout that lasted more than a week. Anyhow it looks better but I think it permanently left a scar on my penis. I would attach photo but don't want to gross anyone out.

This product was expensive and it really didn’t help preventing a cold sore and it didn’t shorten healing time. It did however make my lips shiny so it seemed like I was wearing cold sore highlighter. The only plus side is it has menthol so it provides a cooling relief.
