Q: How flexible is the sole? Is it stiff enough to provide a good support platform or is it a soft rubber?

It's stiff and provides good support. I absolutely love this boot. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever bought. I have them in brown and it's the exact color I wanted. I'm going to buy the other two colors because they're that comfortable, cute and supportive. You won't be wasting money with this purchase. I have Dream Pairs wedges - best wedge I've ever worn. I wore them for New Years for hours with no pain. I have Dream Pairs small wedge sandles - once again the best, so I decided to try their boots and they are one of the best purchases I've made. I love this brand shoes because they're fashionable and insanely comfortable.

Q: R they lined down to around the foot or is it just the shaft thats lined ....hoping its around the foot too?

It's lined all the way down around the foot, it's not super thick like you'd find in UGGs or something, but it's soft and velvety.

Q: Lots of comments regarding wide calfs, but how do they fit for small calfs? Anyone with a size 0 pant size have these?

I just got mine and I measured my calves, they are 14 inches. The boots says it’s 16 inches. I measured the boot circumference and it was only 14 inches and not the estimated 16 inches so returned.

Q: I’m 5ft tall. Will these boots be too tall for me?

Yes. I am 5 feet 3 inches and I think these are just a little too tall for me. The boot comes up to my knee. The back of the top of the boot hits the crease behind my knee. It is a bit annoying.
