Excellent pan !!
I just received my new pan. You can tell the quality as soon as you take it out of the box. Only used it once and it did exactly as described. Super non stick. Very easy to clean. Very pleased so far.

Great frying pan
We have had these pans (2) for a couple of weeks now. Initially we were apprehensive about buying the due to the high cost. We have followed the instructions, proved them and cared for them. Overall, we are very impressed with the quality, they are robust, they are far superior to others we have purchased. (Fried eggs have tended to stick a little (hope that will improve over time) they are very easy to clean. We are hoping these frying pans will last us a long time.RB

Coating has begun to flake off
The initial perfomance of the pan was good - comparable to the best non-stick pans I have owned. However, within a year of moderate use, the non-stick coating around the edges has begun to flake off, especially around the rim of the pan, as shown in the photos. Disappointing for a pan costing this much.

Great Frying Pan
Used the frying pan a few times now and it's great. Perfect fried eggs etc., and cleans up so easily like new every time.

Small hexclad frying pan.
Really well made. Not too heavy. Super non stick, and easy clean. Very even heat distribution. Let’s see how it performs long term.

A great pan, except for non-stick unless you season regularly... (doh!)
The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: A great pan overall except for non-stick unless you regularly season the pan, not the best anywhere (except cleaning).Note: Per the instructions, we seasoned the pan upon receiving it, before first usage. Our verdict after 6 months of daily use.Pros:- Excellent searing power and heat distribution. Yes, you should do your cooking at medium to low heat most of the time, but if you like your steak rare, you can quickly form a crust by using high heat.- Easiest pan to clean. Without a doubt and by far, the easiest pan I ever had to clean. Sometimes, it almost feels like running water on it is enough. Also because it is metal-resistant, you can safely use a scourer.- Durability. The pan looks and feels durable. After 4 months of daily usage, it still looks as good as new, the surface is still scratchless and inspires reliability, unlike cheap non-stick pans that were good for the bin after 6 months (despite using silicon ustensils).Cons:- Not very good for non-stick. Like most non-stick pans, it is amazing the first week or two, then gets worse after that. After 4 months of use, the non-stick is just as bad as any average non-stick pan, even if you use some fat. That said, somehow the non-stick still applies when it comes to cleaning, but don't expect your eggs to fly like in the promotional videos (it actually works the first week, not beyond that...).- Value for money. Despite certain qualities, the price point is too high if you consider some excellent and cheaper alternatives, in particular the Tefal Speckled line-up (Mineralia/Natural Force). Conclusion:The Hexclad pan is excellent overall. But the price point is way too high when you compare it to the Tefal Speckled pans. Those only lose to Hexclad in searing power and cleaning, but they come at a fraction of Hexclad's price and their non-stick work wonderfully (making them fairly easy to clean as well). The only issue we have with the Tefal one is their avaiability, especially at the sizes we need (20cm and 22cm).UPDATE: It looks like the non-stick properties can still be outstanding after 8 months of daily use. We just happened to decide to season the pan again before cooking an omelet and the eggs could really fly off the pan (see video), instead of being all stuck a couple weeks before.... Now, while that is great news regarding non-stick, we are not upgrading the rating. If seasoning the pan before each usage is required for perfect non-stick, you might end up using (wasting) a lot of oil just to upkeep the non-stick while this is not necessary with the Tefal pans (the ones with speckled "stone" surface). In that case, one advice would be using some oil you would throw away regardless: we season the pan using the sunflower oil from tuna tins.

Love Hexclad
Had this as a birthday present and love it. I am slowly building up my collection of hex clad and replacing old worn out pans.Yes they are expensive but they are so worth it. I have a couple over a year old that still look as good as new they are so durable. Not sure how people are strugglingbtonuse these pans as the instructions are clear and if followed as I have done they work flawlessly. Being able to sear a steak etc properly is great oh and yes I have been able to cook many eggs in them without them getting stuck. I think user error is the only thing that can go wrong with these pans just follow the instructions.

Mediocre pan, really bad non-stick even with step by step guidance on how to use.
The pan is a considerable let down to be honest, I had TEFAL pans to compare.Yes it's sturdy, yes it feels good in the hand, yes it heat distributes well, but the non-stick coating is quite bad, even with oil in it meat sticks to it very very quickly. The uneven texture of the pan makes things that get stuck really hard to remove or jiggle lose.Even if you oil the pan if there is a small contact area under the meat where the oil just isn't covering it will immediately stick.Cleaning is ok in the washing machine, but the whole paper tower wipe is marketing, it does not work, the uneven texture of the pan is more akin to a file than a smooth surface and it grinds your paper towel into powder in only 2-3 swipes.I'd say it would have been a 5/5 pan if they would have nailed the non-stick side of it, as it stands even following their season instructions, although let's be honest how do you season a pan that you put in the dishwasher? Sounds good, doesn't work. If NON-STICK is important to you stay way way clear of this.
