Excellent for Recording good audio - Useless for live streaming / Zoom / Facetime.
Great sound and quality build but once plugged you can't hear any sound from the iOS device. This makes it useless for any live interviews, streaming via FaceTime or Zoom. Very disappointed. I now see in the information it says this: Note: You have to unplug your microphone from your lightning devices such as iPhone or iPad to hear your video/audio when playing the sound back. I wish I had seen this beforehand. Shame Apple can't give you more control over where your audio goes when such a device is connected.

Failed after less 6 months, poor sound quality
Average sound quality at best considering it's wired. However, it began failing to connect and then my iPhone suddenly said this accessory wasn't supported. 30 day warranty from Amazon. No way to contact the company. I suggest avoiding it at all costs.

Decent mic when holding to mouth not that great clipped on chest or neckgood enough for the price for beginners to get started

This is great for producing video content. Only slight downside is the cover comes off very easily so will need to glue it on.
