Grizzly Peak Tactical Steel Multi-Function Survival Shovel and Pick Axe, Collapses Down to Just 6.5"

A really small shovel - pick combo, this tool lasted me one day. Fortunately it was just to act as a backup, but it started to fall apart after only an hour or two of use. The spade end is about as big as a hand, and the locking mechanism worked decently well to keep the angle of the tool true without wobbling. The handle, however, started wobbling very quickly (it is a 2-part screw-in handle which is why this tool is collapsible). After an hour of use, the threads in the handle has been completely stripped, effectively cutting the handle length in half as the bottom portion slid on and off as easily as a water balloon on a water spigot.

This thing was A LOT smaller than I thought it would be. The spade is a little bigger than my hand. Though since we only bought it for post-earthquake fallout, I'm sure it will be useful. The carry case it comes in is super thin and the hole thing has a bad chemical smell. Overall, it's cheap, cheaply made, but I doubt it will fall apart after one use. I look forward to using it.

The handle threads stripped out on the first use halving the already woefully short handle. The space and pick are very effective for thief small size.

Its made from metal that easily bends and I cant really use it for real work heavy duty work, but it works well in the soft dirt as long as you take it easy. I would make it with stronger metal if i wanted to have a reliable product. or thicker metal,I don't know.
