Best book for toddlers!!
Pictures in this book are awesome! My toddler loves pointing out different things. It has both photos and illustrations, and is just an overall awesome book for learning new words.

Excellent! Exactly what I've been looking for.
I've been disappointed with all the other first words books I've come across. They all seem to have odd or confusing word and picture choices that leave me scratching my head, plus 100 turns out to be an arbitrarily low number that leaves out a lot of basics. This book is just excellent. It has none of those problems. The selection of words and pictures is extremely well thought out with plenty of context to give them more meaning. The scenes also provide many different levels of learning, from simply pointing and saying basic words, to describing the many details of the scene, to seek and find. There are even text prompts that show how to begin combining words into simple phrases.Another thing I appreciate is that it combines both photos and illustrations. I believe my child can learn more from seeing both specific and abstract versions of the words. Also the families illustrated are from all over the world-- just another great feature. I know this book will grow with my child, and we'll enjoy many wonderful hours reading it together.

Best book for learning words by far
This book is fantastic. It is, by far, my favorite baby book. It walks you through the day with a baby going over the words they would most likely encounter chronologically. The illustrations are fun yet practical. Every page has the words on the bottom with photos to give another opportunity for your child to learn the word with a different presentation. I haven’t seen this in any other book and it’s brilliant. The pages are busy with objects so there’s always something for the child to discover. Good for distracting your kid while feeding them. I wish there were more books like this.

Big but great….
Great first words book. Our 18 month old loves it and goes through it several times a day. A helpful bit of info though…this is a great book but a bit large for travel. I would love to see them come out with the same style book but in a size that a child could flip through while in their car seat.

The most realistic kid’s book I’ve bought thus far
The media could not be loaded. My 15 month old’s favorite book. She has a whole shelf full of books and she picks this one everyday !! She loves it and I love it even more. I initially bought it for someone else but once I opened it I loved it so much that I kept it for my baby. It’s so realIstic. The pictures. The words. I love how it shows the things I’m currently teaching her. With real life illustrations. GET THE BOOK !

A good first words book
This book is a good first words book my grand daughter can point at almost all the objects in this book. She’s still learning to speak those same words.

The very best first word book!
This book is our absolute FAVORITE of the first words books. So many of them are boring -- they just "label" objects. In this book you can pore over the scenes and enjoy finding and pointing to all of the familiar objects. It also includes both illustrations and photographs, which makes it a lot more fun. Your baby/toddler (and you!) will love it!

Horrible Condition of Book
Ordered this but it arrived like this. Had to do go through the trouble of repackaging and returning, thinking twice about ordering this book from here. Content-wise it’s a lovely book.
