Simba Funny Shopper Supermarket Cashier Playset

I disagree with another reviewer that the toy is flimsy. The build/model we got differs slightly from the pic so I think the one we got may be more sturdy (ie the conveyor belt, etc).One thing not mentioned in the product description is that the play money this toy comes with is Euros! They are accurate in denomination for both the paper money and the coins. This must be because the manufacturer is German... and while play money is play money, since we recently traveled to Europe the kids are very excited. In our global economy, this is a great toy.

My grandaughter has not received this gift yet as it is for Christmas but I am sure that she will love it. Seeing it in the package I would like it for myself. It has all the up to date parts that you will see in a regular supermarket.

This cash register is kind of cheaply built, but it was what my niece wanted for Christmas and she loves it. Lots of neat features.

I read and read about all the various children cash registers, and I thought this would be the one - even though it was a very expensive toy cash register. It is NOT worth the money. I paid $32 for it, not the sale price. The conveyor belt is junk - impossible to operate. The paper play money was scotched taped to the produce - how silly is that. The cash register drawer opens maybe 1.5 inches, making it almost impossible to use the money. The food it comes with does not stand up on the conveyor belt. The best part is the credit card swipe. I will probably end up purchasing a different cash register for my grandchildren as this one is designed very poorly.

Its is a good product, my kid just like it and has a lot of fun.the conveyor is too "artificial", he never uses it, but it is a good idea.

The kids play with this for hours. They absolutely love it. Its sturdy and has tons of things to entertain them.

Toy register is a great "beginner" for children from 2-4 years old. Coins are a problem, we just don't use them

First I expected this toy to be a little larger but that's not really a problem. This toy is sadly made just to fall apart. I received it today and am so disappointed. Very cheaply built. The cash drawer doesn't open maybe 1 out of 10 times. The mic really doesn't work. The conveyor belt is made of plastic thinner than tissue paper and barely moves occasionally. The calculator gets a thumbs up and really is the only valuable working part on this toy. It is such an awesome idea. I couldn't find one built by little tikes and thought I would take a chance on this one. For about 40.00 after shipping and all, had I seen it in the store, I would have only paid 7-8.00 for it. Our little girl is trying to play with it and loves the idea, it's sad it won't last a month I'm sure. This is the first toy I've given a bad review. Save your money and expectations.
