These were purchased to apply on our teak shower stool. I love them because they are not felt so they work perfectly for the shower.

These furniture slides are top quality. Packaged with safety covers over nail ends so no puncturing your fingers. Place in position, a quick tap of the hammer and your chair is moving smoothly across tile, wood or carpet flooring.

This Teflon has a lower coefficient of friction than other solid white Teflon grades. It does have a lower softening point and will wear out faster after a million rubs. I do not plan on moving my furniture that many times so I will take the easier glide. The larger surface area of a square 1.5" means less force per square inch is less than 1" or smaller products. This makes it easier to move. On many tables, I glide effortlessly. For some furniture, I intentionally used smaller 1" because I wanted it to stay and it was too easy to move with the 1.5". As I get older, having furniture easier to move allows me to remain independent. I have bought this product 3 separate times and have done all my furniture in my house.
