I don't know why other reviewers are having issues with this, but I'm a novice at stamping nails and I love this stamper. First of all, I don't know how people use opaque stampers and get the pattern in the right place. What's great about this one is that not only is it clear, but you can pop the back panel out so you're looking through only the jelly part of the stamp and can place your image exactly where you want it. I haven't found that I had to press very hard with this one to get a good image, I press about as hard as I do with my other stampers. I have at least 4 other brands of stampers and this one is the best by far. Not only because you can easily place your stamp with it, but the jelly part itself transfers clear images without warping them. It's very sticky and firmer than my other stampers, but I haven't found I have to use it much differently than the softer ones. I may be pressing harder when I put the stamp onto my nail, but not overly so. I suppose you might need to if you have really curved nails and need to get the image into the edges of your nail to the whole stamp on it because the firmness makes it conform to your nail less than a softer one, but I'd rather have to press a littler harder to do that than ruin a stamp because pressing too hard warped or smeared the image because the stamper is so soft.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best stamper I have ever used and i've had Other big name brand stampers. And I really like the scraper that came with that too. Really easy to use, no problems with transferring works beautifully.

great concept, poor design. the pad sinks into the plastic housing while stamping. the base of the housing pops out, allowing for removal of the pad for easy cleaning of allparts. would be perfect if the removable section of the base were thick enough to keep the pad at proper height for use while stamping. always push the pad out through the bottom of the housing, if you attempt to pull it up you risk tearing the pad.

I've had this stamper for about a year now. And when it works, it works pretty well. But unfortunately that isn't always the case. When I first used the stamper it kinda worked, wasn't consistently picking up the polish on it to transfer to the nail. Then all the sudden in the middle of using it, it just stopped working all together, didn't pick up ANY of the polish. I tried for such a long time, many many attempts to get it to work and nothing worked. Then I read somewhere that taking the silicone stamper out of the casing and washing it in warm water with dish soap would help clean it for a better pick up. So I did that and it worked quite well for a while. But after a while of not using it I go to use it and it doesn't work, again. So I guess washing it often before use is the way to get this thing to work, which isn't a big deal but a little inconvenient to do everytime you want to use it. Although, I do love the fact that it's clear so that you can see what you're doing when transferring the polish. But honestly, there are better stampers out there that work much better than this one but maybe for a beginner who wants to just try it out before buying a more expensive one, I guess this one would be the one to buy & try out.

I could not get it to work, either, like another reviewer. I followed the tips and tricks in the description and it would pick up very little and it was spotty. I tried both stamping polish and non-stamping polish. I did not use Acetone/Nail Polish Remover to clean, as instructed. The box it came in looked like it had been used, so maybe it was a dud that was sent to me. I have other stampers that work perfectly so I know how to use them. This was very disappointing.

Update: I like this stamper so much I bought a second one after I ruined the first with acetone and could see through the base anymore. So a word of caution there. First review: Didn’t work at all until I YouTubed it and found out it needs to be primed by buffing lightly with a nail file and going over it with tape or a lint roller. That gives the surface a matte finish that will pick up the polish. This was my first stamper and I’m super happy with it!

Can’t say enough good things about this stamper. I’ve used them ALL. Born Pretty, Beauty Big Bang, CJS, Maniology (the wooorst). This stamper is hands down my favourite. It picks up beautifully 100% of the time, even off sub-par plates when none of my other stampers will grab a crisp image. It sits in its base far better than most others and doesn’t “burp” and pop out as bad as others are prone to. I’m on my fifth order and I’ll keep coming back for this one when I need a new one.

I was told that this was a good brand but no matter what I did it would not pick up the nail polish. It is a complete waste of money.
