I love these pellets...they burn hot and clean. They also make the food taste like charcoal grilled in my pellet grill. That said, I will also begin mixing in some hardwood pellets to gain some of that smokey richness that a smoker is so good at doing.

This stuff never disappoints, I have gotten a bag or two with a large rock in it instead of charcoal but oh well. I like it, gets really hot and lasts a long time. I mix it with my charcoal and food tastes great.

These are great for getting a charcoal flavor profile. I like smoking roasts with this as much as just grilling. I think the best way I’ve found to use it is to mix with a fruit wood for a charcoal and wood smoke profile for the brisket or pork butts. Some of the pellets can be a little long and make your augur bind under pressure and make the screw jump. Overall happy with it, just need to double check as you pour the pellets in to make sure you break up the longer pieces.

Burn awesome and leave great flavor in my treager. They burn hotter than wood so a bag last much longer.

I absolutely love these charcoal pellets. Sometimes I use them on their own, sometimes I mix them with regular pellets. They definitely level up the flavor! Seems best to buy them in person... I ordered two bags; each one shipped in their own box. Large boxes with no protection inside, both bags split open and made a mess in the boxes during shipping. I keep my pellets in airtight containers, so it wasn't that big of a deal to transfer them. Just lucky that the boxes didn't leak and that they didn't get wet.
