I`ve been using for the past 2 months and do far so good. It is not as fast as an apple one but other than that, nothing to complain about it.

The charger seemed good at first was charging well. However after the 3 months of using it, I've noticed the charger getting really hot to the touch whenever it was charging the mac. Around that time I also started having issues with connectivity, I had to tilt the magnetic charger in order for it to connect. I've had a few cheaper amazon charger replacements before this one so I knew they are all short lived but I never thought that it would do this a month later. The charger actually burnt a couple of it's pins and also managed to burn pins on my mac charging port (see the pictures). Even the original apple charger couldn't charge my mac anymore due to it being partially burnt. I've spent £100 on replacing that charging port part with apple plus £79 for a new original apple charger at the end.Even though this charger looks decent it's really dangerous, the guru suspected it was something with the fuses being dodgy, as this charger is significantly lighter in weight compared to the original. Save yourself a lot of money and just buy an original apple charger instead, it's not worth saving on the charger only to find that it damaged your mac.

I bought this for a 2014 MacBook Air model. My battery is in need of replacement so my MacBook needs to be plugged in at all times. The original charger was fraying and eventually gave up the ghost, meaning that I was anticipating having to spend a considerable amount on replacing it.The product is great. No issues with plugs or sparking (as reported in other reviews). It's very sturdy and the cable is thick and durable. For the price I paid, and how I use my MacBook (see below), I am absolutely happy.The only drawback, and reason for losing a star, is the connection to the MacBook itself. As anyone with a MacBook is aware, there's a very satisfying magnetic 'click' with this connection on the official products. This connector is also magnetic but it doesn't attach as securely and it is relatively easy to knock it out of place if you catch it, thus interrupting the charging.This isn't a massive issue for me as my MacBook is pretty much permanently stationed on a desk for home-working, but if I was moving it around very much (or sitting with it on my lap on the sofa), it could be a pain. As with everything, it depends on how you use the product. Nevertheless, based on my individual circumstances, I would 100% recommend and would purchase again.

Fast charges works well no complaints

My previous wire was all worn out and I was unsure if I should get a new apple one or this but I'm really glad I got this as it was just like any other apple cable and it's given me no issue so far. Highly recommend it.

The charger is excellent for the MacBook Air 2; it charges my laptop in just 2 to 3 hours, and the battery lasts well over 6 hours! The item is excellent. No sparking or plug troubles (as reported in other reviews). The cable is thick and strong, and it is quite solid. I am very happy about the price I paid. The red and green light indicator is identical to that on the original Apple charger. The magnetic connector is also great and very useful. Would suggest this in place of the original.

Gets scorching hot when charging, for the last few months I’ve had to position it a certain way to get it charging and now, after only 10 months since purchase, it’s stopped working completely.
