As much as I love Star Trek, the very thought of hanging Star Trek ornaments in the Christmas tree seemed bizarre to me before I moved to America. Or, maybe I should say that the idea was alien, hahaha. Anyway, after a couple of years with tiny Borg Cubes, phasers, communicators and starships glittering merrily along with the more traditional decorations, I've taken it to heart.Data is my absolute favourite in the Star Trek universe, and when I saw that he was available as a Christmas ornament, I just HAD to have him. When the package arrived, I tore it open eagerly, adn I was not disappointed.The ornament is well made, and very detailed. It would have been neat to be able to plug it in to the christmas lights and get it lit up, like some Hallmark ornaments do, but that is just a detail. From now on, Data will not only have a place in my tree; the rest of the year he will man his station on my desk, next to my computer.

Great gift for a Star Trek fan, but is a bit heavy on the Christmas tree. Overall would recommend just due to the uniqueness of the gift and the craftsmanship of the design, every detail is spot on for the design.

In great condition for the age of this thing. My Trekkie friend will love it!

Great ornament! Totally worth the price! I thought it would be made of glass and it was made of plastic instead, but it was still very nice quality with good detail. It looks great nestled in the tree too, like the Enterprise bridge is on the Christmas tree.

I would say the representation of Commander Data in this ornament is about 70% accurate. They have the nose and hair right, maybe the eye bags too, but not much else. But it is still Data - what other character has such a jaundiced glow and such rubberized hair? Data is my 6 year old's favorite character on TNG, so I purchased this mainly for him. However, it's fun to see how many friends appreciate this ornament. Great conversation piece. It is lightweight plastic. I dropped it and it did not break, but the paint did chip a tiny bit. Too bad I cannot find a Sherlock Holmes Data or Data with Cat ornament. Oh well, I came to the TNG party late, so this will have to do.

Excellent ornament and painted well and looks just like I wanted.

My daughter saw this ornament @ an antique resale shop, and intended to come back and buy it. Someone beat her to it, though, and she was disappointed. So, I went online to see if I could track one down. This ornament came in the box as pictured, packed carefully-as I got it intact! This was her favorite gift at Christmas! I would recommend to anyone that Amazon and those that complement Amazon are right on target about the condition of the item (if used).

Tag on the box says $14.95, so they're overcharging. It's also not quite Data. Like Data's brother. The shipping is expensive considering it just came in a basic dented box with a single piece of wadded up tissue paper. But the product was in good condition anyway. It's ok, but I wish I would've shopped around a bit more before getting this. I'm not going to return it as it's ok enough to give as a gag gift and not worth a return hassle.
