Fits the port configuration of the laptop perfectly and gives a segway from wired connections to future wireless: keyboard, monitor, mouse, external hard drive, headphones etc so new tech (laptop) can still work with older. And for a quarter of the Microsoft hub 2 price.

Great organizer makes my life much easier!
This Hub docking station makes my life much easier! No need to worry about different port with varies device. I want as less little cable as possible, and I'm getting it! I use the docking station to connect with TV monitor, web camera, keyboard, love the high speed in transferring data through USB. Great price for the value!

You can spend a lot of money on the official Microsoft dock (literally hundreds) but if your requirement is simply to connect to a monitor (and keep 4k resolution) and have extra ports - then this will deliver much the same need at a fraction of the cost. Note that it really does only work with the Surface laptop 3 and not the 2 - the inputs are laid out differently. I'm very happy with this piece of kit.

Value for money!
It's small, compact, and durable. It doesn't even use a cord to connect to the laptop, which is brilliant for not cluttering up a cramped desk space (and it makes it much easier to carry the laptop as well without having to remove the hub and then carry it and the laptop separately).The USB connections are speedy and all the ports fit as they should. They're easily accessible and not too tight against one another, so I can remove or add without an issue. I've also connected an external monitor through this and it works perfectly. Doesn't heat up with prolonged use given that the body is aluminum and not plastic.The variety of ports here is great - it really expands the functionality of the Surface without having to pay a fortune for a hub or even an additional laptop. Such a shame. Seemed to be well made, compact ad smart. Unfortunately it simple didn’t work and had to be returned as faulty

Best form factor
This hub/docking station is the best one I've found for this particular laptop. The form factor is great, it is the same thickness of the keyboard (except for the slight hump of the Ethernet jack) and fits firmly without slack or wiggle. Not having to deal with an umbilical cable and large block of ports make it extremely portable. I mostly wanted it for the two SD and Micro-SD card readers.

Keine Probleme bei Bildschirmübertragungen
Das ist super. Hatte vorher riesige Probleme mit Maus und Bildschirm bei meinem Surface 5. mit diesem Adapter funktioniert alles wunderbar ohne Unterbrechung. Top 👍
