Over the past year or so, I've found that my ideal daily dose of Vitamin D supplements is approximately 23.5 micrograms, or 940 IU - 800 IU in the morning, and 140 IU with dinner (I may need a bit more with dinner when the Vit D comes from a gummy multivitamin that also contains Vitamin A.) Taking less than that, I'm likely to be constipated. Taking more than that, I'm in danger of diarrhea. I have a multivitamin capsule containing 100 IU, to take at night. So, I want to add 40 IU more to it. It's very hard to find Vitamin D doses under 400 IU. When I saw that the page on this supplement specified "17 drops" per dose, I thought I'd be able to take 1 drop of it, to get a nice, small dose. But when I tried that 1 drop yesterday, I found out that it's too much for me.

I've been intuitively getting messages that I need to take vitamin D so I've been taking drops like this. I ordered this to replace another bottle from another brand I was taking. The taste is pleasant and you just use a little dropper. Since I've been consistently taking this I really can't tell the difference I just know I need it especially in a darker climate. I don't have any complaints. I prefer this overtaking pills any day.
