If you can put a nozzle on your hose, then you can use these. They are very easy to use and cost little.

Q: What is the inside diameter of the hole in the connector?

The inside diameter is .25”( a quarter inch).

Q: what are the extra o-rings for?

I don't remember there being any extra but there are 5 o rings that go into the female end of the quick connect hose. Just like a garden hose at home.
