Now that I have had a few occasions to put this gizmo to the test: it works great with all sorts of hooks and varied tops, true to its advertising claim.

Pins break easily, a problem with design
A great tool for someone who doesnt like tools, or a great novelty for someone who doesBiggest problem is the pins will break as it gets used. The more this happens, the less useful this tool will be, so eventually youll have to trash it. But by the time that happens, youll have gotten your moneys worthBuying more expensive versions of this gadget doesnt really fix the durability problems complete, its just a flaw of the design. So while a little more money will get you better quality, dont go crazy expensive expecting you are buying a lifetime tool

Good stuff but easy scratch b/c it is black
My old socket set has lost many bits, so I bought this one for replacement. It is sturdy. It works well for all sizes < 3/4. Unlike the fixed size, you need to be a bit careful to center it over the bolt/nut. When not centered, it still works, just not smoothly.I gave it a 4 for the following cons1. Only 1/2 inch depth into the socket. You may not be able to use it on nuts that are on a long bolt. Fixed size provide 3/4 inch.2. It comes in black finish. There are scratches right after 1st use. If you care the look, go get a SS one.
