My original cracked at the hinge so this was a replacement..First one lasted a good 15 years or more. Was glued the last 10..but love these things!

These are great. I have them on all my rifle scopes to extend the life and protect the glass. They are easy to install, quiet enough to pop open while hunting, and overall, very well made. Be sure you measure twice before ordering. I recommend going to Butler Creek website to get all the instructions for measuring your scope.

My husband ordered those and he says to measure your scope objective by vernier callipers and don't go by the sizes they offer on chart. Those are kinda right since the cover will loosely fit. You want your scope covers to be good snug fit and not loose fit. He measured it with callipers (in mm) and than ordered 1mm less than the actual measure of the objective. They fit just they were suppose to. Not a whole lot noisy with spring action hinge.
