This is a well designed product and ready for the mass market, instruction is clear and comes with everything needed to start printing. Laser is not a toy and if used incorrectly there will be serious injury and fire risk, LaserPecker have included the safety glasses and instruction is clear what need to be done and I strongly recommend read them twice before start. The same important instruction is also on the app and I love the way the app will not allow you to proceed until you enter a pin to confirm safety check is in place.The printer fit in the inside of my palm easily, metal construction and lovely brush metal finishes. I managed to power it via my powerbank through out my test and it comes with a 3 pin power adapter and a USB cable if needed. It connect to your phone via bluetooth, a small logo type of print takes a minute or so to transfer and 5 minutes to engrave. Max print size is 10cm wide like my family selfie in the demo video, that took just over an hour to engrave.I printed logo, photos on the included brown paper and result is sharp, it will not engrave on white paper so I guess it is colour dependent for it to work. Timber is fine and my light colour 3D printed plastic works too but will need experimental adjustment to make it perfect.The tripod is the only thing I did not like about this product, it did not want to work out of the box and after tightening the screws on the base and the legs it is better but for long term use I will seek alternative mounting system.

The results, for a layperson using a laser at home are very good. I have been thinking about buying a laser engraver for ages and so glad I got this model as it is so simple to use, the app is very easy to operate and lots of options to create some really nice results, all the different materials that you can engrave are listed so once selected the laser power is automatically set for perfect results.The feature I love the most is being able to select a photo from your phone and the app converts it into a top quality pencil art type drawing.The included tripod mounting system works really well and there is a 20cm wooden ruler included so it's easy to get the laser at the perfect distance from what you want to engrave.The preview function is very handy as that uses a very low power setting on laser to show where the outline will be on your surface before you start engraving so you can position things where you want.

The thought of being able to customise all sorts of things is great and becoming within the reach of the common man these days, I bought this with all sorts in mind and in theory, it does an awful lot, the only problem for me was the app it came with, It doesnt allow for much customisation and I think people will want to venture away from it with their creativity, plus some of the settings just dont work for their corresponding materials which also means lots of trial and error, and lots of wasted material!!Advice for anyone wanting to try would be to go for the pro model with the auto adjustment stand which just really makes it a lot easier to use, and make sure you do it in a well ventilated area with a fan close by.

The LaserPecker is a superb laser engraver which is very intuitive and easy to use, I am using the app on an iPhone 12 and it's very clever and accurate. However I went for the version which comes with the tripod and that's where it lets itself down. Seeing as though the laser can be quite a dangerous product if not handled carefully, I would have expected a better tripod. It has a tendency to be a "bit floppy". I have since ordered the pro bracket which I hope will make this a much better package. The laser and the software get 10/10 but the tripod only 3/10.
