Formfutura PP (Polypropylene) 3D Printer Filament, Black (Pack of 1)

This must be printed using packing tape covering the bed it doesn't adhere to anything else. My setting worked off the bat very well 230c Hotend, 75c bed, 50mm/s print speed maximum (or slower if required), 4mm retraction and 0.2 layer hight/quality. On a Voxelab Aquila with no mods (almost replica of Creality Ender 3 V2) and WITH AN ENCLOSURE (this will help stop shrinkage and warping)!(Might help someone).The filament print really well, layers are good and smooth finish. Bear in mind this is a semi-flexible material and not ridged like PLA, weighs 25 - 30% less than PLA, very good impact resistance and can be used to create hinges as it can be manipulated over and over without breaking. Also PP doesn't absorb moisture so no need to dry or seal when storing (but I do to keep any dust off).

I've printed this on two separate machines one with direct drive, and one with a shorter bowden tube. They both printed great. Form Futura has really impressed me with this material. I highly recommend this material as a professional, and enthusiast in the Industrial Additive Manufacturing industry.

Wie immer Lieferung super schnell. Verpackung war auch ok, luftdicht eingeschweißt in einem Karton mit Feuchtigkeitsabsorber. Das Filament ist super sauber auf der Rolle aufgespult. Die Toleranz lag in den Testmessung innerhalb der 0,05mm. Der erste Druck war wie immer ein Temptower, der nicht wirklich die Angaben auf der Rolle bestätigen. Auf der Rolle steht 200-220°C Drucktemperatur. Schon ab 230°C hatten sich die schichten gelöst, nach ein wenig probieren kam ich dann auf 235°C und 40mm/s, das Druckbett hatte ich auf 80°C und hielt auch gut auf der Ultrabase meines Anycubic I3 Mega. Ich vertrau eh nicht auf den Angaben auf der Verpackung/Rolle, daher für mich kein Problem. Da tickt auch jeder Drucker etwas anders.Zum Material kann ich nur soviel sagen, es glänzt schön ist stabiler als PLA und lässt sich ähnlich wie PLA drucken. Stringing ist vorhanden, mit ein paar Einstellung in Cura bekommt man die im griff. Lüfter ist bei mir auf 100% außer bei den ersten beiden Schichten, um eine gute Haftung zu erhalten, Fluss der ersten Schicht ist bei 130% und 15mm/s, sonst würde das auch nicht gut halten.

In several spots the filament is less than the stated 1.75mm, down to 1.2mm, and clogged my extruded—the small piece got wrapped in the gear. The 1.75mm part works well though. Best settings: 240c nozzle, 80c bed.
