So neither of the knobs that come with the Fanatec shifter really feel great if often you don't wear gloves like me. I wanted something OEM like nice quality, I used to drive a manual S3 so was looking at one like that but was unsure about the thread sizes so I started looking at universal aftermarket ones, not really expecting to find anything I'd like. Saw this though and I'm glad I did, the look and feel is exactly what I was after. Comes with an assortment of different sized rubber inserts to go over and protect the original thread which you then clamp a threaded piece which the knob then screws onto. The bottom of the knob also unscrews so you can attach a gaitor if in a car. The quality feels very nice will see how it holds up over the years but for now I'm very happy with it

Decent heavy piece of aluminium machining. Look great and is very easy to install and use. Please note it is fairly heavy and may cause shifting to feel a little heavier but not too much. Overall, great product

Looks great, really nice quality. I bought this as it said it was universal. I have a vw t5 with lift to reverse gearing, the knob fits on fine, but doent leave enough clearance for the lever to lift all the way, and so you can not put it into reverse.I fixed this by extending the shift stick slightly by screwing a 4cm bolt into the stick shift, and cutting the supplied adapter down then fitting over the bolt, bit of a faff and extra expense but does the trick.Shouldn't be advertised as universal as it causes confusion, this can be seen by the number of questions asking if it fits lift reverse gearing. I'm sure it works on some, but not all

Universal fitting kit that is included just failed on me after 2 months and the knob kept spinning by itself, had to completely destory the shift knob to get it off and put the oem back on. Disappointing

Didn’t like the shape of the knob in the current car and this more circular shape is much better for my hand, gives me great grip on the knob

Beautifully machined aluminium with a high quality resin insert on the top for the S.Deep drilled holes on the side for grip about 7.5mm across.Fitted my 2007 Corsa D with some slight alterating to a plastic sleeve glued onto the bare gearstick.However the faux leather collar did not fit inside the bore of the knob a cabletie and some pvc tape hold it up as pictured, without compromising on utility or style.An issue is however that with my pull up reverse button i have to be more careful when putting it into 1st as i had ro remove the mechanism for this.

The media could not be loaded.  What can I say, I’m thoroughly impressed. Shipping said it would take 2 to 4 weeks and arrived in 2 days. Seller is very prompt and wastes no time sending the product. As for the shifter itself the detail is amazing. It’s the perfect weight for shifting as well. I have pretty big hands and this knob is the perfect thickness. Can’t recommend this enough! Facilement adaptable, l'anneau de fixation n'est pas solidaire du pommeau ce qui arrange grandement l'installation. Le pommeau en lui même, est vissé sur l'anneau "adaptable". Il y as donc beaucoup de possibilités de fixations différentes, certains plus durables que d'autres ^^. Je recommande cette pièce.
