After 4 years of hybrid work, and 6 years with an autoimmune disease that can force me to WFH, I finally found a great lap desk. Others I’ve tried were more lap desks or cushions, which isn’t the right height for all day work esp video calls and gets heavy. This extends tall enough to sit on my plus sized lap with the surface tilted, and high enough to make zoom calls comfortable. Nice wide stance and work surface. I don’t use a mouse with my laptop but there’s room. The small side drawer is great to stash an Apple Pencil and reading glasses. The rubber ledge is great to hold my iPad or MacBook.

I didn’t want to invest in an adjustable desk so I bought this to give myself an option to stand at my desk during the day. It does flex a tiny bit when resting your hands on a laptop keyboard, but it’s definitely worth it at this price point.

Perfect for studying/reading in bed. Perfect for adjusting. Good material and nice storage area.

I've been using this about 2 1/2 months. It is too easy to accidentally collapse the legs on it. The legs don't lock which is a huge problem. You lift it up to set it down when you want to get up and the legs fold way to easily. They tend to fold when opening the drawer also. Now, one leg just broke off the base when I opened the drawer. I haven't had this long enough for the plastic to break like that. You can't glue it back together as the plastic crumbled and it's not an even break. This is the second desk in this style I've used and yes, plastic on the leg of the other one broke too. I'm not hard on these, I'm not dropping them. The other one lasted a year and a half. This one not even 3 months.

It is big, it has ample leg room and it is adjustable. My only issue is that is not very sturdy. I am keeping it, though. I think I can work with it.
