This book is full of practical hints to pare down without losing a person's feelings for items they have collected over the years.

I bought this book as a gift, but was intrigued enough to read it myself. I think it is a good premise and would work for someone who is already somewhat organized or trying to be. You absolutely cannot keep EVERYTHING! However, still good to have, motivating.

The author is obviously creative. Her ideas are great and the text and photos are helpful. What might be even more helpful would be to lake a few of her projects and discuss her reasons for choosing her design and how she conceived and re-conceived the project from start to finish.

Could have been more detailed and informative, as well as instructional. Good pictures though.

I was so excited that someone was actually going to help me save all of my treasures instead of just throwing them out before my move. But this whole book was nothing more than pictures of different rooms. Oh you could see how a collection was displayed in a room occasionally but there were no instructions at all. It would have been nice if there were step by step instructions to get us started instead of just showing a room put together by a designer. Where am I supposed to start?

I was amused at all reviews expecting a real organizing book. The cover picture is a dead giveaway that this isn’t the usual “only keep essential items in pretty closed boxes behind closed doors”.It’s a book for those looking for ideas to display collections. Well done and a couple new ideas as well. And believe me with the number of magazines & books I look at on this subject, a new idea is pretty impressive

I have a number of different collections and needed ideas for displaying them. This book has amazing ideas and information. I read it from cover to cover, finally after 4 years in my current home I feel and look organized!

The photos in the book just show cluttered spaces and didn't really give me any creative ideas on how to store all my things. I have gotten better ideas from YouTube.
