Heavy with excessively strong spring action
The umbrella feels solid and well made. However, its weight is on the heavy side at 1 lb 2 oz so I would not carry it in my travel bag. Its spring is so strong that young kids or older adults would have a difficult time compressing or folding it in half. I am not sure whether this is just a defect on my unit. I am returning it due to the spring being too strong to be useful for my kids.

Excellent, sturdy umbrella , especially for the price!
I have recently become a Bay Area resident and desperately needed a good umbrella to replace my 99 cent store umbrella I used in LA. I am really happy with this one. It is sturdy, classy, and opens and closes really easily with the push of a button. One thing I like about it is that when you push the button to close the umbrella, it does so with such force that much of the water is forced off and it dries faster. I also like the reflective piping around the outside. It makes me feel much safer walking around at night. Also, the handle is really classy. All-in-all, excellent umbrella for the price. It has gotten me through several rain storms already.

opens easily and quickly
opens easily and quickly. Fits nicely in the hand and the umbrella is wide. The one complaint I have is that it is VERY hard to collapse back down. The button closes the umbrella quickly but I have to actually use the ground and lean down on it to close the extension. That's a little awkward when you are in a hurry like trying to get in the car quickly.I bought two because I thought it would be a great umbrella for my son to have but he would definitely not be able to close up the umbrella without help.

WILL turn inside out very easily
This umbrella is good in rain but not in windy conditions. This will turn inside out very often and did on me but it didn't break. I would not recommend this umbrella unless you don't mind getting soaked by the rain every few minutes while you try to fix the umbrella

Too Big for Pocket
I've been looking for a small, fit in my pocket, umbrella because the one I had finally needed to be replaced. This umbrella is very nice, looks to be very good quality and I love the reflective trim. Actually, the trim is why I ended up not paying attention to the size. This is too big for my pocket - but will make do.

Terrible umbrellas. Do not recommend to anyone
I bought two of these umbrellas. Automatic opening/closing mechanism broke on both of the after they have been used only a few times. It opens with such a force that opening action brakes the mechanism. I suggest Amazon to discontinue to sell this product.
