Self start worked for one use. Torch seems to be fine otherwise.
Self start worked the first time I used this torch. You can click it as much as you want now and it does not light so has to be manually lit. I don't expect this thing to last years and years, but hopefully the valve holds up for the next year or so.

Great price and it has self ignition
I have an older torch that does not have an ignitor and figured it was time for a newer one. This torch is way less expensive than the name brand torches and it so far it sure seems well built and it lights when i push the trigger.

Excellent
Manufacturer engineered a great entrant to this market.I use this with MAP gas to work with brazing rods, steel wire, copper, etc. The flame is large, but not as large as some of the other torches.The parts are solid, and the tip is lined so it doesn't glow straight away.Easy start ups, easy off.Hose is solid, and I was able to straighten right out of the box. (It is thick, though, so it's worth engineering a solution to keep the small bottle upright.)Overall, it's been reliable and exactly perfect!

Doesn't work
this would not light right out of the package. I bought it and didn't try it until the return date was past. It does not light and is junk.

Quality feel.
The media could not be loaded. Brass fittings, swivel @handle, long hose (stiff when cold), starter is firm and handy.Flame is well suited for parts heating.But no flame control @ handle, only on bottle nozzle.I was set to buy a new torch nozzle to attach to my blue bottle or go to MAAP gas, but this gives me better flame and more control w/ the long hose and torch handle.Great purchase.PS : there is a sticker on the handle warning of overheating of nozzle at low flame ??
