We got these for the laundry room door where we keep the cat food and litter box to stop the dog from going in there. They just take a few seconds to install and have been working great. They are super secure and we have yanked on the door quite a few times forgetting it is on there. We liked it so much we bought more for all the rooms so the cats can come and go without the dog, or to allow some fresh airmin the room without the dog being able to get it.

I stuck this to the frame of the door and the door itself after cleaning with an alcohol wipe. It stayed on the frame but the part on the door popped off leaving the sticky bit on the thing and then again leaving the sticky bit on the door.

I love this renter friendly cat door so much. It’s so easy to install and it keeps my big dog out of rooms we only want our cat to enjoy. It’s been nice in keeping a healthy balance in our home. Can’t recommend it enough!

First, my dog was able to rip open the part that attaches to the right wall, which is attached by the sticky tape. I had to screw that on because the strap was working very well. I used this so my cat could get out & him & the dog could get used to each other so I really wanted to continue using this.Once I screwed that piece on, my dog was able to unsnap the piece that clips over the top of the strap on the door. This made the strap longer somehow, so now my dog could fit thru the door. I was not pleased when he came out with a "treat" from the litter box. It defeats the purpose of why I got this to begin with.I can snap that part back on, but my dog can still easily snap it back off & get into the room.Maybe it's just not meant for dogs his size, but I did read the reviews before I bought it & it worked for dogs bigger than him so I thought it would be fine. He's not that tall or wide. At one point he'd figured out how to use his nose to flip up the strap & get it out of the latch, butt that only happened once. My biggest problem is the piece that came unsnapped over the strap on the door. I even tried to super glue it when I snapped it back on, but since it goes over the strap, it didn't do any good.I'm afraid I'll need to return this.It WAS working while it lasted... It just didn't last long.

This was extremely easy to install! It’s high quality and sturdy!

Does its intended job, has stickers or screws which is nice. I suggest putting the “latch” side on the wall, unlike the picture.

Liked this product. Was easy to install as well. Bought it to keep our German Shepherd out of one room which we had as a safe haven for our foster cat. Was a lot cheaper than buying a gate but did the same job.

We have two dogs and they now can’t get into the cat litter. Helped us to find another location for the litter. Simple to use and effective.

Bought for my basement door and bedroom so the cats can have free roam around the house without the dog being able to get into things. They are excellent and easy for function. I can still close doors fully with the need to unlatch, and latching unlatching is extremely easy without having to really look down. Best Purchase!!
