Wayfarers Series 4 Books Collection Set by Becky Chambers (The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, A Closed and Common Orbit, Record of a Spaceborn Few & To Be Taught, If Fortunate)

These are such terrific books. Read the first one "The long way to a small angry planet" and LOVED it. The feeling of being in a place was so good you feel you could go there. The characters are real, the situations true, the aliens pretty alien. Not sure about bugburgers. But in it's context, true as well. Cannot recommend it enough. Provided you love Sci fi. Had to buy the whole set. I'm eking them out so they don't finish too soon.

...this is poorly (or cleverly) advertised as all 4 books in the same series when it is NOT. It is in fact the first 3 books and an additional book not in the series. The product description is therefore misleading.

Have only read the first book in this 'Wayfarer' series but have enjoyed it immensely so far. Extremely well written with storylines that will surprise. As a long term sci-fi fan it has been pleasurable reading. Looking forward to the remaining books. This purchase was extremely good value for money.

AMAZING series. Read it. Read it all. What will Becky Chambers do next? And more to the point, bloody when??

Interesting. It is the British edition. Published across the pond. Evidentally they are happier with cheaper bindings and paper stock. Feels that way to me. It is the series that won the Hugo for best series so you get what you wanted!
