Great product!
This thing worked better than expected! Saved me a lot of hassle running wires up through walls. Just have to be careful you do not get it stuck in insulation or wedge it between any joists inside the wall or you will never get it out. No issues since I was careful not to lose it. Very powerful magnet will power through most situations without pulling apart through standard 1/2 " drywall.

I love the Magnepull and Qbit. Makes running Ethernet in the house sooo much easier. I just wish it weren’t so expensive!

It works, but it's not perfect.
I like the system, but had several issues with my first attempt. I had two cables to pull in an old building. The cutting blade was not strong enough to go through the paneling on the wall which didn't surprise me. It also had a hard time with the old drywall. It marked the position enough for me to change blades and complete the cut.The magnet was not quite strong enough to easily manage its counterpart inside the wall. Trying to find my way past fire blocks and insulation was still pretty miserable . I was finally able to use a cable pusher rod And Shove It Down the Wall with the magnet attached. I assume my project was a tough test. I think in most cases it would work really well.
