I think this is a good gadget for kids, but needs a lot of improvement especially at the design. Smart watches are so popular these days, but there wasn’t any decent kids smart watch available on the market, except the very cheap and basic ones and I was hoping maybe this is the one we were waiting for. Short answer: NO, it’s not the one.Arrived in very well-designed packaging, very colourful and detailed with a display area where you can see through the box. I like this idea, it is much better than just print a non-realistic product picture on the box, you can see the actual item. But apart from this, I can’t say many good things about the product.We got the girl version, which is pink coloured. I think it’s also available in purple. The worst part of this watch is the design. I can’t believe this is made for kids… this thing is huge, chunky like a potato, looks way too oversized on a child wrist. I do understand that it meant to have many features packed in it which needs space like, camera, battery, Bluetooth module and many more but still! The colour display is also a disappointment, it is super pixelated, it reminds me the Sony Ericsson’s first colour screened mobile from back in 2000’s.Come on! I do get this is only for kids, but they also deserve good quality gadgets especially for this price. Featured with a built-in camera, I didn’t find any information about it but I assume it is just a VGA camera as the quality of the pictures taken with this is very low. The battery meant to last 5 days, I have not tested this however the battery needs to be charged trough a micro-USB cable which also outdated these days. Also, through this micro USB port, the watch OS can be updated, but it is pretty hard, you need to connect with a PC, or a Mac download the new firmware and install it on the watch. Why all this hassle? Not everyone is tech savvy, and why is not possible to update wireless if this is already having that feature? The OS is simple, not much to talk about it, has some basic apps, such as taking picture, play, step counter and pretty much this is it.Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the money. I would just buy something more intuitive which has a lot more educational apps and also better in design, quality and features. I would love to give only 1 star but… but I have a daughter who loves this, and she is over the moon, and this is what matters as she is the mains user. So, If I add the 1 star from me and the 5 from her, the result is a generous 3 star.

We’ve tried a few smart watches now on my 7 year old and 4 year old. I have to say this is the best ….I’ve tried cheaper ones that are fun and the kids do like them but the quality is cheap, picture quality is cheap and the screens aren’t the most responsive. However, Toni is fantastic and I was so blown away with the screen quality it’s better than my adult main brand smart watch. The games are really good and so is the video and camer quality. There are so many features too and would highly recommend.
