Sturdy, useful front door stand alone burglar alarm
Siren can be heard upto the next floor level in apartment complexes. Sturdy with metal body. The piezo electric siren opening is in the base (concealed after mounting) and so it can not be covered and muffled. Continuous 5 minutes siren (if not switched off) and enough to scare away even the hardened criminals.The main draw back is the battery chamber. While pulling out the battery chamber (with 4 AA batteries) one has to be vary careful as the two thin wires connecting the chamber with the internal circuit can be broken. I replaced all 4 Everyday batteries that came with the alarm with Amazon batteries and hope it will come for atleast 6 months.The key is small in size and it is better to put it in a big key ring. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase. Let me see how it comes for long period.
