Worth a read for aspiring musicians
The book is way bigger than I expected. I haven’t read it yet but the quality is nice and apparently has a bunch of gems on the music industry, so if you’re a aspiring musician, producer engineer ect definitely worth a read

I buy almost every edition
I bought this for my dad's birthday and I already own one myself. I always try to buy the latest edition of this book, because it clearly explains legal and financial aspects of the music industry in an easy, accessible way. There's so much more info in this edition about how the internet has affected the music industry.

Excellent book for musician advice
Purchased this book for my son for Christmas as he is in a band. He’s got it with him all the time and has found the advice extremely helpful. Recommend.

UK-ish
It's the UK edition in the loosest sense; every so often there's a paragraph that says [something along the lines of] "... in the UK it's like this/like that." The authors have just added bits in the book rather than do a re-write; it's still full of dollars and other Americanisms. There's only a tiny bit about classical music. Otherwise, it does cover a lot of ground, though, and the advice and legal formation, as well as systems of royalties, contracts, advances etc are applicable in the UK. At the second-hand price that I got the book for it's definitely a useful bargain. For pure UK information get a book by a UK author, or get the latest version of the title and make your own UK adjustments.
