Quality is good but not finished.
Received item quickly. All parts included. However, the bolt holes for the winch were not drilled all the way and the threads were not complete. Lucky I have skills and tools. I drilled out the mounting holes and tapped the threads making the unit functional. I have not installed the item as yet. I plan to install on a boat to lift and store my 240# dingy. As such I will have to modify the mounting system to fit the boat.

Perfect for use in my truckbed.
I drilled 5/8" mount holes and it fit perfectly. Easy to use, easy to store. Just what I needed to pickup heavy items and place them in my truck bed. This crane is sized perfectly to reach all coroners of my truck bed.

Crane collapsed due to faulty welds
I installed this crane about three weeks ago and had only used it a couple of times. I was lifting a 520 pound load (verified with a crane scale) in a position rated for 575 pounds when the support pillar gave way internally and dropped the load about 18 inches.Upon disassembling the crane I found that the cause of the failure was a faulty weld with zero fusion for about half of the circumference. This should have never passed a QA inspection, and it makes me doubt that there ever WAS an inspection. Certainly not by anyone who knew what they were looking at.A failure like this could easily hurt or even kill someone. I'm lucky to have escaped unharmed, except for my nerves, and the project I was lifting wasn't seriously damaged.

Quality is low but so was the price
THE MOTOR CONNECTIONS WERE STRIPED ON THE WINCH. BEARINGS WERE SEIZED ON THE SWIVEL. PAINT IS GOOD QUALITY WINCH WORKS WELL ONCE I GOT THW MOTOR POSTS TO TIGHTEN.

Works perfect for my DIY Wheelchair lift.
I installed it on my boat to get me in ans out of the water and it works flawlessly. I've hD it for a little over a month now and it keeps doing everything I need it to do.

Not bad for the price
Can't complain too much given how inexpensive this setup is, but if you're going to haul more than 25 feet into the air, you might want to replace the winch. The cable is 50 feet long. its fully extended in the photo.
