Gobble Gobble Mr. Wobble

As a vegetarian, I was worried I might not like the ending, but I had a lovely surprise. Very cute book, lovely pictures, and well recommended.

Gobble is great and beautifully illustrated. I love the animals he meets and the added bonus of recipes in the back is great too. 10/10

I'm a teacher who loves holiday books so when I saw this and read the reviews I was excited to get it. Honestly, I wasn't a fan...there are other books like Turkey Trouble and Turk and Runt that are more creative when it comes to the same type story line. I also thought the end was super bizarre about telling kids to go meatless. I wish I wouldn't have spent $10 on this. The only positive is it did have nice illustrations but even the word font looked like something you would type on your home computer.

From the dedication to the recipes at the end, this book is simply adorable!I must admit, I was a bit concerned for Gobble thinking he was destined to the dinner plate versus a seat at the table; I was elated to discover he was, in fact, a guess and not the main course. I appreciate the way the writer shares her personal beliefs towards eating practices creatively an that the reader doesn't feel like they were lectured. It is such a balancing act and Becky passed with flying colors.I recommend Gobble Gobble Mr. Wobble as a great story as well as a book parents may share to encourage a vegetarian lifestyle.Great job, Becky! P.S., I hope those whiskers grew back.

Absolutely hilarious! I had this slight feeling of dread as Thanksgiving Day arrived in the story, but ...boom! The author totally surprised me. Phew... saved. No spoilers, but a charming and happy ending.The illustrations are just fantastic. Very high quality, with the Turkey character beautifully drawn in both word and picture, with sweet little animals like mice popping in and out here and there, getting up to mischief. :)
