I purchased the 30’’ Trusteam under cabinet range hood for my remodeling kitchen, and the fan & motor are powerful to take in most of the cooking smoke from the stove (900 CFM as stated), even when we heavily cook the dishes like fried chicken, steak, fried noodles, or patties. The noise is acceptable when I turn on the highest (the 6th) fan level and it whispers on the low fan mode. Please note that you can only pour in the distilled water for its steam-cleaning (or the tube might be blocked by the impurities from tab water) ,but for me it is not a problem since it is easy to get from the stores and I can clean the range hood easily just by one click and you will hear the fan and steam running within cleaning cycle. I like the one-piece stainless steel look, and also purchased the additional deflector board to upgrade the suction and appearance. For installation, it took me about 2 hours to finish all work and the manual included has clear step-by-step instructions. Overall, I am very satisfied with the long-lasting range hood since it has 10 year part warranty and lifetime motor warranty so I will recommend this to those who need a high-quality under cabinet hood in the kitchen.

Looks fabulous. Excellent suction. Not too loud on highest setting, pretty quiet on lowest setting. Love the steam clean feature.If you cook with a lot of heat and oil (typical Chinese style for example), you will love this product way better than the weak ones or the ones that don't have real ventilation.This is a carefully designed product. Simple and solid surfaces. The Hood is all by one piece stainless steel which you dont have to worry the oil stuck in the gap of the different pieces.The control panel is simple and well organized; the LED light is not the light bulb, its the light strip which is more brighter. This range hood even reminds me of Apple products. It's delightful to touch and use. The handyman who was installing it praised its efficiency.

The good:- Nice stainless, classic look, durable, heavy duty while not overly heavy- Very powerful fan, includes damper/adapter for 6" or 7" round ducts. I don't think anyone cooking with this could out-smoke this airflow.- Easy to understand and useful button controls- Good lighting, nice temperature and brightness- Quiet for the CFM delivered- Not sure how well the steam cleaning functions, but it is a great feature anyway!- No filters to changeThe not so good:- Design very straight forward, big (ish) height, nothing extraordinary- Buttons simple, but could use some better options, i.e. brighter lights, or skipping the dimming altogether. Brushing up against the buttons turns them on accidentally.- Could use an even lower fan setting, when just a little bit of airflow is needed. Lowest setting still pretty audible, though not terrible.- Water inlet for steam cleaning on top, which could be covered by some cabinets. I had to make a hole in my cabinet to reach the water inlet.Keep in mind:- The air outlet on top is huge and no template is included. It wouldn't have been such a problem, but you will need large exterior access without a stud. Though I think probably using the included 6" adapter would be fine for most cases.- Installation was fine, though it could have been better with some sort of wall mounting. I would recommend using a "ledger board" to prop everything up. It is heavy and the screw holes are not easily accessible.It's not a fancy or crazy design (they do have some like this) and it's not likely you or anyone else will take notice of it, and it could use some more bells, whistles, and options...but if it lasts, it will be well worth it.

I bought the 30’’ wide trusteam hood with 23’’ deep. It perfectly covers my stove top with 4 burners. Our family cooks fried rice, chow mien, braised beef and fried chicken a lot so normally we have heavy cooking smoke in the kitchen. However, this under cabinet hoods fit well in our small kitchen but functions efficiently with high CFM to take in most of our cooking smoke as expected. For the lighting, it is bright enough with 2 modes to choose (8W LED light). Trusteam auto clean function is also easy to use. You can hear the motor running and steam spraying onto the fans when the cleaning function is turned on.

Purchase in February 2023 and unit motor blew within a few months, had multiple communication with the company, they only sent parts which did not resolve the issue, finally sent someone who identified motor blew ( in the mean while, kept on blaming my contractor not using the right spect vent), vent size changed now notice no suction same as original complaint, would not sent someone unless i show proof of vent is correct size. now i have to purchase a drone to take pictures, the house is having grease which i have to minimize cooking. Would not recommend the product/ company due to poor service. I still have not resolve the issue. Unless they fix it, would recommend stay away from this product

I have used the Pacific hood for more than 10 years. The existing one is the auto-clean which using the water with the cleaner. Now, the Pacific range hood comes with a new feature which calls steam clean. You don't have to add the cleaner; instead, you will only add the distilled water. The hood will heat the water to steam and melt the oil. Since it doesn't need the cleaner, should be more healthy, right?Additionally, it's easy to use. If you have any questions, their customer service is more than happy to help! Overall, it is a nice product and worth it!

Compared to the old one that I had for 9yrs, different brand but same power, less noises more suctions , cleaner air . Do not buy it !!!
