Melnor 465C Industrial Nozzle, Basic

This water nozzle is light but is well made. Squeeze the grip lightly for a spray, all the way for a jet spray or somewhere in between. It is an old school design but it works as it is supposed to. I have gone through a few of the other nozzles that lets you twist the head of it to select the type of spray that you want. These have always ended up with worn plastic parts that caused leaks and drips.

These hose nozzle's are the best. The spray is always consistent and they NEVER leak. I have now bought 2 of these because my first one broke after 3-4 years. Even though it broke, it was still usable. I will continue to buy these hose nozzles.

Have two water hoses in the front yard and two in the back with each having a spray nozzle. Got tired of broken lever handles and leaking water from the hose and nozzle end. Threw away three of them but kept the only one that is still working....Melnor! It's beat up and faded green but by Jimminey it is still working without a leak any were. Here's why I believe it's still with us. The lever handle is metal while the others are plastic. Eventually the sun and whatever else gets to the plastic which makes it brittle leading to splits and cracks causing it to not pull the valve anymore....folks who have had this happen to them know what I'm writing about. Next is the hose end of the spray nozzle. It's made of metal and not plastic which enables you to tighten the hose into the nozzle without fear of breaking it which eliminates leakage. Another nice feature is u can spray the flowers and grass with one hand. You don't need to adjust the spray pattern with the other. You can also adjust the force of the water with the lever....squeeze more results in more water force while other nozzle levers r either off or on and nothing in between. On top of all this is the price....less than the flimsy ones. Nice nonleaking and long lasting unit.....give it a try u won't b disappointed.

The Melnor spray nozzle performs flawlessly, for watering flowers to cleaning sidewalks or patios, and is very comfortable to hold in my hand while using.

I got this to help clean my butchers room. Grinder, saw and such that hooks up to some pretty harsh chemicals to clean them. It is well insulated so it does not get hot from the hot water coming out from it and the chemicals are easily sprayed through it. My only complaint is the plastic protector head for it, after a couple of weeks it started to pop off so I just cut it off. Never gonna use it anyways.

I purchased two of these units back on 2/8/23 for my home. I use them for typical homeowner garden and yard work use. It is now 11/27/23. Less than ten months later, they have both become broken; the plastic "trigger handle", that pulls back on the brass fitting, broke beyond repair. Throwing both of them out. I cannot recommend them unless you feel ten months is a reasonable life for such a product.
